I can't help but think that threats were made against children and schools, otherwise why would 5 districts have closed?

The media has downplayed that fact today, which adds more credence that the Killer made specific threats of killing, kids at schools. From what I heard, schools will also be closed tomorrow.

Wasn't there a report about a woman and her daughter seeing a bicyclist carrying a rifle in some kind of pack 3 miles from the Home Depot the night of the shooting there? I think I read that some place today.

Certainly Italian uses "le". It's the feminine plural of the definite article. To quote Dante: Guardai in alto, e vidi le sue spalle.

I have to agree with this. The hopefully previous fixation on Vans, White Panel Trucks, Astrovans etc, has helped the Killer escape I think. If the Killer wanted to blend in with traffic be it back roads or major expressways a run of the mill sedan like a Taurus or Cavalier would be hard to beat.

This is awful to say, but my friends have been running errands after a shooting. They think it's when they might be safer.

I think this is common. I've been doing it, and some of my friends here have been as well. I don't reckon there's really any time we're safer than another, especially given the way this whole thing began with five shootings in a handful of hours, but I guess if it FEELS safer... But yeah. I think a lot of us here are doing this.

I agree with some things you posted that Mark Fuhrman said...one in being the military reconaissance planes...They probably let that out in thinking it would scare him off, but they should have known that this guy(s) is good at not being seen and escaping, and did they think the planes would scare him?? Then the media went into full discussion on a couple shows discussing the range that can be reached w/ the planes..now how stupid was that?!..Any spacecadet would listen and move to an area out of range, as the sniper did...It seems these news channels needed something each nite to discuss for ratings, which ended up hurting, terrifying and killing more people..However, I disagree w/ the part on stopping the news conferences due to alerting the people what's going on, especially those living in those areas..and they're going to need the people to find this nutcase which ideally since they supposedly have a photo of him, they should release it to the public...Wonder if Mark Fuhrman was hoping to be called in on this investigation??

A freeper whose name is something like doosee reported that yesterday or Saturday. Her daughter and her daughter's friend were jogging and a white male (40-50) bicylist passed them. They were about 3 miles from the Seven Corners area. They thought they saw a rifle butt protruding from his backpack. After the HD shooting they contacted the police with a decent description.

If doosee's name doesn't appear above, then I've got it wrong, but it's close.
