In support of our FReeper brothers and sisters on the East Coast, and our military, and president, and in an effort to "Stop the Warped (Leftists)" : ), we FReepers on the West Coast will be gathering on the steps of San Francisco City Hall at the Civic Center on Saturday, October 26, at 12 Noon. Please join us! Bring your flags, signs and patriotism! : )

The "Stop the war" Leftists will be gathering at Justin Herman Plaza at 11 AM, and marching to the Civic Center Plaza to rally at 1 PM. They are hoping for 200,000 people. We will be lucky if we have 20 people. So....from past experience where the "not-so-peaceful-'peaceniks'" did not think WE were entitled to the First Ammendment, the plan is to rally for a little while in front of City Hall, then go over to Van Ness Ave. for awhile. Safety first!

You go West Coast Patriots! Thank you for stepping up to the plate to do the job that needs to be done in opposing the pathetic and traitorous peaceniks. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your courageous and patriotic endeavor. Good luck, and may God be with you!

OK, San Francisco Bay Area FReepers - FReeptime! : )
Now, no one has really stepped up to take charge of this FReep, so we're kind of playing it by ear.
To those who participate, please be aware, even though there may be police there, we are each responsible for our own safety.
You can read about what the Lefties are up to at: actionsf.org and sf.indymedia.org
It would be helpful if people would help get the word out about our little rally -
KSFO.com E-mail, call Lee and Melanie, Brian Wilson to please make announcements.
If someone knows how to do press releases and notify the Media, please do, so OUR side can perhaps get some coverage, to let people know the Leftists aren't the only ones out there.
Maybe someone can contact some veterans groups.
What/who else?
Please try to help if you can. Thank you!
There should be parking available at the Civic Center Parking Garage. BART stops a few blocks away. Cal-train + bus is also available.

Any Southern CA FReepers want to join us? Can you please ping your area FReepers to this thread? Thank you. : ) (Sorry, unlike the Lefties with their paid-for transportation, you'll have to provide your own. LOL/Sigh)

If You'd Like, I'll Put You on The Home Stretch Board Ive been posting. I would imagine there must be quite a few FReePers and Simon supporters on the Peninsula and in the East Bay looking for a place to go this weekend and Stand UP and Be Heard For America!!!
To: NormsRevenge
If you mean about the FReep, that'd be great! If they haven't seen this thread, maybe they'll see your board. Thanks Norm. : )

October 26 is probably out of the picture for me, but I might come on down Tuesday in Palo Alto...

Well, I am going to be in the area... (I'm an eastcoast freeper)
I'll be in akland for about two weeks, what should I do other than visit the San Fran landmarks?
To: KayEyeDoubleDee
Akland?! Uh, do mean
Oakland? : ) (Did you hear about this kid/guy (?) a few years ago who ended up in Aukland instead of Oakland, or something like that. It was a misunderstanding. (I don't remember the details.)
If you're gonna be here Saturday....please do join our FReep. : )
Depends what you like to do. You can check out Berzerkeley (Berkeley). You can tour the USS Hornet in Alameda. There's the Wine Country.....listen to KSFO 560 AM....hmm....thinkin'.....ideas for KIDD, anyone? : )
To: American Preservative
Right. Oakland. A friend of mine recently opened a venue there, The Black Box, which is like this music hall, art show, spoken word poetry venue. I am sure I will find it as, ahem, diverse as any leftist gathering place imaginable and will probably be as close to "visiting Berkeley" as I will need!!!

Good for you, AP! Hopefully someone can help you write up a one-page flyer (who, what, when, where, why) that you can put up in area VFWs and American Legion posts, store bulletin boards, etc. You could even fax it to local papers and TV and radio stations.
Twenty is better than none, and you may well have folks stop to join you when they see you. Go get 'em!
