I don't care who is doing this, home-grown or ME. This IS terrorism. You don't have to be swarthy for this job. Son of Sam was terrorism. Ted Bundy was terrorism. And now to hear that they may close the schools tomorrow, I will scream at the next person who says that if it's a home-grown we can't call it terrorism.

If it's a terrorist cell doing this then they have the $$$ for the kind of toys it takes to bounce calls in a manner that the call won't be traced.

If the phone number is a U.S. number or in other modern nation, fuggedaboudit. Calls from/to/through it WILL be traced.

OTOH, if it is off some ancient Strowger switch exchange in Indonesia...

That's one way bombers set off their handiwork, but if this number was directed to a cell phone it has certainly now been redirected to a constantly staffed police desk.

Yes, the word "policeman" is most odd. So is shooting a kid with a sniper rifle and leaving any sort of note on a tarot card.

I would not be surprised to eventually learn that our sniper is leaving a note everywhere now. We wouldn't have learned about this one, except for the fact that Moose needed to communicate to the sniper about it.

I think there's far more going on than we realize.
