Frankly, the police are used to dealing low IQ nitwits with no impulse control. This shooter is smart and he's patient. The police are overmatched. Every day I think more and more that our future is going to look like Israel.

Thanks very much for that weather history link. I appears to show that the weather was not consistantly clear last week and there were several overcast days in that area.

SO - the shooter was not just waiting for cloud cover to protect from possible sky surveillance and there was another reason(s) he waited 5 days to shoot again.

However, if he's worried about the 'eye in the sky', it's possible that all future shootings related to this case [unless he moves further outside of the D.C. area] will take place under overcast conditions.

After watching all this:

1. Michael's just happens to be in all these little plaza's. The name itself means nothing. It is the layout of the Plaza with the Greenspaces, adjoining parking lots and numerous vehicle exits that is the criteria.

2. The white van is a "tunnel vision" item. After performing some visual parking lot testing, I found that white vans are the "most" visible (unbelievably so), red cars were next, dark cars are almost indistinguishable as to color.

3. The Tarot card...I'm not even convinced that it was left by the sniper. The info on the .223 was out at the time and it's 9 shots into the scenario. Sounds like a nasty kid in the neighborhood being a smarta**. (But I don't know what the police know.)

From the few sites we know about...The sniper is on foot for part of this at least. He has a spotter BEHIND him.

When the shot is fired, he watches the sniper walk out. The spotter starts his car and goes to another parking lot for a pickup and drives into a residential area using the back roads and never getting on the main drags.

He has safe haven somewhere near Fredericksburg. Virginia is into the hunting season, yes? Guys in camoflage would not be an outstanding feature down there but would be up north??

Who knows! Just rambling thoughts.

Next shooting will be along 270 North from DC. Frederick County MD, probably near Frederick (City). Perp will leave the area heading towards Baltimore.

Perp wants to get yet another LE jurisdiction involved and is aware that Virginia has a fairly good system to shut down traffic, wants to test Maryland's. Watch out Pennsylvania, they are heading your way.

On the thread last night that went to over 2,000, someone told me it rained there this past week (quite a bit, I think poster said), and that he hoped that they'd get prints.....I'll try to find name; it sounded like he knew the area...he might be a better source for local weather info.

I think you're right.....and I've hailed 11th_VA, who must live in the area....he might now what conditions were last night. His post to me sounded like he lived in the area. Full moon, and bright moon, should last a few more days (unless cloud cover comes by).

I agree. And I still think it's part of a competition between 2 (or more) individuals. That's why I believe eventually one of the victims will be one of the shooters.

Unless they're muslims terrorists, one of them surely had in mind to execute his accomplice(s) after a while. Watch out for the perps starting to stalk each other and possibly die under circumstances that might not even be related to the shootings. Am I making sense or do I need more coffee?

These guys on t.v. are ridiculous....one just "appealed" to the killer, saying "we know you're angry, you got your point across, how can we help you." They REFUSE to consider it's a terrorist cell, and continued to INSIST it's a PSYCHO. Just who do they think their fooling with this stupid talk and rhetoric?
