I heard something about a legal pad sheet of paper with a message that included a request that the tarot not be made public, which is why moose was so steamed about it ...
To: A Citizen Reporter
I suspect the fellow left a number of a ranking official, Moose's own phone number, or a number few would know to leave a message that he knows what's going on and who is involved.
To: mware
I think Drudge is just paraphrasing the press conference. Moose wants all media to replay the statement he just made.
To: Dog
You can buy pre-paid/disposable cell phones at any convenience store.... perhaps that was what was left?

I wonder what other messages have been left behind.. I wonder if communication has been going on all along? We only know what we are told..this is creepy. Maybe why Chief Moose looked/sounded stressed out all the time?

The public info officer answered questions just after Moose left the podium. The PIO made no attempt to re-phrase what Moose just said. In fact, he said that the person to whom the statement was intended will understand exactly what it means.

Thank for the update. I have been watching the Eagles game and did not hear the interview.

His demeanor didn't strike me as different from previous press conferences.

The perp has threatened someone. He's left a phone number of that person to prove he knows something. They are manning that phone now.
To: mware
Hi Martha....it seems the shooter left a message to the police..
How about them Iggles!

I would've missed it, too, but the Packers just scored & I clicked away for a sec. Final: Packers 30 - Redskins 9. Favre sprained his knee.

screwed the pooch on his message delivery Quite possible. Moose started out by impressing me w/his first conference when he said "SPecifically ASking" and has deteriorated (probably through stress) back to the ebonian, "should not be conscrewed as".
To: Dog
I wonder what other messages have been left behind..I'm not sure there were any, since this one has (at least temporarily) shut Moose up; nothing else did.
To: Dog
Moose looked very intense, not scared. But he made sure he got the message right.

If this isn't a hoaxer, and it IS the sniper, it sounds like a home-grown rather than Al Qaida. Wonder if the voice had an accent.
