To all of those closely following "The Beltway Sniper", I would like to know how many believe the shootings have a direct link to ME terrorism (i.e. done by a Muslim trained in urban warfare vs. no connection whatsoever). Anyone have any ideas (or desire) for a sort of informal poll that could be taken?
FWIW, I changed 180 degrees since day one. Based on the evidence presented in the press, public forums, and a few LE contacts I have, I believe that this is related directly to ME or Islamic terror by a single cell to assess the reactions of LE and people.

i've been of that opinion since the second victim was hit.
odd how we're not seen quite so much as 'crypto-racist' wannabes over the past week or so ...
(there's a story behind the 'c-r' thing, but it's hardly worth typing)

I would like to know how many believe the shootings have a direct link to ME terrorism There is good news, and bad news if this is terrorism.
The good news: If it is terrorism, we can stop it completely by changing our foreign policy. On the other hand, the bad news is that as long as we continue to meddle in other countries affairs, terrorists acts will continue forever.
George Washington gave good advice.

I think it's clear it is ME-related terrorism. No "nut" has this many safehouses.

Ihave mixed feelings.
I am expecting this to be a group of people carrying out the attacks. Points to Muslim terrorist network.
The tarot card proclaiming "I Am God" would not be appropriate for a Muslim. But then again, can a Muslim deceive to kill the infidel????

I've been thinking about that bullet.
I think there's a good chance it's already been ID'd. These bullets have always been fragmenting. Just because they couldn't remove all the fragments doesn't mean they weren't able to remove one large enough to ID.
Unless this is a different cell using different ammunition...
