Per FOXNews, a 10am EASTERN news conference is planned. Two travelers pulled off I-95 for dinner at a Ponderosa Steak House. The Man, 37, was shot in the gut while his wife stood next to him.
Bullet has NOT been removed from the man while, after surgery, he remains in Critical but GUARDED condition, however, x-rays are expected to provide some dimensional analysis of the slug. Further surgeries may be required on the victim, according to FOX and then the bullet is likely to be recovered.
Meanwhile, the "white" box truck/van that was found with a "Shell" in it at Dulles is reported to be a 7.62 (.030'??) OLD shell and NOT expected to be part of the "Sniper Shootings".
Multiple LEA's are now in Ashland, VA located about 80 miles south of DC to begin more site investigations at first light of dawn.
Numerous witnesses in the area saw the man fall down and provided aid to the man. The man was still conscious and spoke during the rescue. According to (spit) CNN, there will be NO news conferences from the hospital.

The moment we respond to terrorism by modifying our foreign policies, our demestic policies, or even our way of life, we have lost not only the battle, but the war, and our ability to self-govern.
From that point on, any a$$hole with an issue and no fear of death, who wants us to change something we're doing, will simply blow themselves (and a bus, a building...name it) up to get it done.
And the thing is, that the moment that we change something to appease one group, we will be targeted by another one.
You can just change our name to "Pavlov's Nation" from then on.
The best way to deal with this is to hit back. Hit back ruthlessly and violently.
Hit them so hard that they will think not only twice, but three, fourm, five, and six times before doing anything to us again.
They kill our families, they forfeit the lives of theirs.

There is no desire for conversion - merely killing us. You don't convert people by the threat of murder. Besides, a religion using murder as a means to make one convert would undoubtedly have many more horrors for them as members.
They are luring those who love violence. Their religion rewards killing, horror, every known terror, and covers it in a "honorable" status. Of course, the evil ones in society will join up, it provides a wonderful justification for their desires.
Here's another interesting article that has a little more information about Al Fuqra, or the Red House Virginia muslims. At the end of the article it states the reason Al Fuqra is linked to Al Qaeda--by their connection to one of the AQ who had a role in the African embassy bombings.

Anecdotal evidence and explanation given to me...
Bullet entered back and lodged in armpit. Since the chance of nerve or small vessel damage would be likely in order to dig it out (actually they have a fancier term for it), the decision to leave it in there, has caused no trouble after 3 years.
The bullet shows up like a spotlight on Xrays and good measurements (not lands and grooves) can be made although the police wanted the bullet.
I've been holding my breath the past two sundays, just waiting to see if he hits a church, praying that he doesn't.
What? Holy cow! I hadn't heard this. No wonder it sounds so strange in English. Someone translated it that way. I've been following this as well as most around here, but not once have I heard this on tv. I admit I'm not reading the WashPost articles though. Guess I should be.
I'm really stunned by this now. How can anyone claim it's being done by kids playing video games, or someone local then?
Sounds good but don't hold your breath for anything of this sort. My bet is that policies WILL be moderated first before resorting to widespread retribution attempts.
And just how does going after those that kill us become meddling? Just how does providing aid to every country wanting it, become meddling? Just how is the U.N. allowed to "meddle" without any attacks and the U.S. is the only enemy?
Your comments sound like talking points of the democratic party.
Can you please explain exactly why you want us to bow down to the terrorists and allow them to kill us? Can you explain why you want to give America to them to prevent their displeasure? Can you explain why you choose to cast blame on America but none on the terrorists, the dictators, the torturers of the world?
Can you exlain how you intend to pacify the terrorists? Do you move America out of every other country on the planet, do you give them our wealth?
Also please explain how - without access to TV, radio, or free speech, the people in those countries even KNOW what America does? I would think the hate stems from the dictators TELLING their people that America is bad while they are pure.
I've been listing to too many Police Chiefs and Homicide Detectives....
