The more stuff that comes out about the psychological profile of the sniper, the less I think it is the work of a terrorist. This "I am God" stuff is more like the Son of Sam than Bin Laden. Muslims try to "please" God (by killing infidels), not "be" God.

Really? The more I hear them talk the more I realize they have no clue about what is going on. As far as them being Muslims trying to please God, please remember that the 9/11 cowards went to a nudie bar and got drunk before 9/11.

IMHO, the greatest problem is that even if this is a lone nut and not terror cells, it will likely be adapted by terror cells at some point. Very successful at tying up LEO resources, so would be useful as a diversionary tactic.

While I still think this shooter(s) will be caught within the next week or so, I'd be shocked if terrorists don't adopt this technique in the future. Time to get used to it, we are at war, and we have been warned for over a year now that we will have casualties at home. Its just like W. Nile virus, in that we will all be at risk, but the odds are still incredibly low that any one person will be affected. Get mad, increasingly vigilant, but otherwise learn to live with it.
