OK, here's mine:
First, it is important to remember that this is in all likelihood a foreign army, albeit a small one, on our soil, attacking our citizens.
That being said, I believe that within 5 minutes of a new shooting, the President of the United States should declare marshall law in the affected region. Lock down 50 square miles, and don't let anything bigger than a bunny rabbit outside of the perimeter without first getting a full anal exam.
None of this would compromise the Constitution or our God-given unalienable rights in the least. The Bill of Rights speaks of UNREASONABLE searches and seizures...and in this case, a full search for the enemies of our country is eminently reasonable.
That's what I would do.
