I've been wondering about motels, not necessitating the need for an immediate escape route. I drove past the Manassas exit today and there was a motel close by. The Fredericksburg and Massaponax shootings have motels as well. I don't know about the ones in Maryland.

Legeia, when considering whether or not this is ME-terrorist generated, I wonder about that myself. It seems to me that a high percentage of motels are owned and operated by ME's. If there's not a mosque nearby, where one can drive into a garage soon after, there's probably a ME-owned motel not too far down the road... hmmmmm.
