Howlin, they all ratified the Declaration of Independence with the words "granted by the creator" for a reason. That reason was to make clear that all men have natural rights and government was to protect those rights, not create or abrogate them.
To: Skel
HA this new cop just said we are not going to discuss the victim, and then he started discussing the victims condition!!!!!!LOL......

What's ridiculous CR is your argument that rights are granted by governments. nice one!
To: Mulder
You can believe what you wish, but your rights ultimately dependent on the whims of the majority.
To: College Repub
"To the extent that you and I would not enjoy these "unalienable" rights that you refer to were it not for the constiution and the acceptence of and enforcement of it by the people of the US, the cliam that these rights come from G-d is a bit of a moot point. "The Founders stated as such. I accept their statements in the founding documents as the basis for their beliefs. To deny that our rights are God given is to disregard the Founding fathers as fools. This I will not do.
It is saddening that you will.

I think the third ring of this thread's circus is going strong now...

One thing, the authorities might want to look under these cars and trucks they're searching. There are a lot of good places to hide things on the underside of a van or pickup.

Is anyone watching this guy on FOX??
To: jwalsh07
Yeah, and it's God, NOT G-d!

Look, if the good people of the United States voted to amend the Constitution to have open season on college republicans every October, would you have a right to life any more?
No right to life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness exists outside of the Constitution. Therefore if an amendment is added to prohibit life to College Republicans then that right is extinguished for them.
I think you got what he is saying quite well.

Grave condition now . . . FOX

Although I couldn't find anything you wrote down, Shakespeare did write these: "Think, and die; Rogue, thou has liv'd too long; I will kill thee a hundred and fifty ways. Therefore tremble and depart; Stain to thy countrymen, thou hear'st thy doom; I'll pray a thousand prayers for thy death; No word to save thee; He shall die a flea's death. Any ones of which would be a fitting wish for the sniper. Anon!
BTW:
Rebel Dick: "The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers." (Henry VI, Pt. II, Act IV, Sc. 2)

This thread is living proof that there are some among us who would rather a lot of us die hmmm, why does "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death come to mind"?
To: Abogado
Where does the Constitution grant Constitutional rights? Throughout.
To: realwoman
I write it as G-d. That way if this thread gets pulled or deleted for some reason, I did not have the name of G-d wiped out (at least not when I mentioned him)

Talk to the wind then, the ears aren't listening. Bye.
