I just heard on the radio that a man was found last night shot dead in the middle of the government district in D.C., on Constitution Ave. next to the Labor Department. I think I heard that the police found the body at 3:40 AM. That's the middle of the night, but you'd think in that district it would not be possible to murder somebody unobserved at any time. I wonder what the real story is. The radio report seemed to think it was unrelated to the sniper, but I do wonder.

Thanks for headsup! I heard the press ask Moose about a shooting at an Exxon station last night--which Moose said was unrelated--but I didn't hear anything about that.

Washington DC was at one time the murder capitol of the world. It's lost that distinction, but is still very competitive.
