Washington DC was at one time the murder capitol of the world. It's lost that distinction, but is still very competitive.

You may have already answered this question, antivenom, so I apologize if I stumble upon it later....is this the liquor store where, perhaps, #1 occurred that has yet to be confirmed as relate?

There was another shooting in D.C. last night -- at the corner of North Capitol St. and Florida Ave. Somebody shot in the head by somebody passing on a bicycle. Used a pistol, I think I heard, and I think I also heard multiple shots. It's a crime-ridden area, and it doesn't sound like the sniper's MO. Moreover, at such a major intersection, there's very likely to be a gas station. So I can buy that that one is unrelated.
But I wonder about the one outside the Labor Department. I'm almost positive there are no gas stations on that part of Constitution Ave.

Would they be better?

I believe I read that the President or CEO or owner of Michael's is a Jewish man, true or not?
To: nicmarlo
Rich Texas brothers, big Bush supporters, but I haven't seen a jewish connection except for a jewish community service award they got. I think the shooter has a list of major Bush contributors.

Mark Simone on WABC radio (New York City - Rush's flagship station) is saying this has not been reported in most of the media yet, but that THERE IS A SUSPECT, and he is being kept under surveillance -- and likely knows it.Could it have been my call? Have too many people read my posts and tried to call or find this guy and it tipped him off? Could 1000's of others be thinking it was there call on Monday night that got the sniper? Probably.

There were 6 under watch before the last shooting.
To: John Jamieson
There were probably more than that.

I don't mean to be a scold, and I'm way out on the left coast anyway. I think though that terrorism is going to get MUCH worse, perhaps to Israeli levels, and we are going to have to be very stoical about going about our normal lives.
If we don't, they win.

I remembered that RENTAL thread and was gonna go look for it this morning!
Wasn't there a thread last week regarding the Fredericksburg shooting and a van with Total Recall lettering? That's very close to Total Rental!

So people posting here are interested in the topic and might want to know about it. That's so what. I myself am not watching it, but I figure if people read what I wrote and are not interested, then they can just ignore it.

A smart criminal would have traveled to the rental agency close to an airport and placed a shell casing from thier gun into an unlocked truck they've never used to throw off the investigation.

You don't have to be so nasty about it.
To: md2576
It wouldn't throw it off that much, now would it? Presumably all the cops would have to do is interview the person(s) who rented the truck during the period. And interview the people at the rental agency.
