Your tax dollars at work.
Isn't it good to know that after we pay all the freeloaders and bureaucrats that there's still eonough tax money left to build something that can actually protect us from all the crazies in the world?

There is another post on this subject and it said Boeing paid for the development.

Subsonic??? 260 knot top speed? 20,000 ft max altitude? Certainly not one of our heavy hitters, but boy could it sneak up on you and rock your world.
Gotta love the "W"-shaped wing. Talk about foresight...

can you imagine 700-1100 of these armed drones coming at you?

The second photo from the top, flying over the desert, looks like a Photoshop job.

Even if it is, the movie more than makes up for it.

Pretty wild. We're breaking out all kinds of new weapons for the war on terror.
Stand by, al-Qaeda and your supporters, we'll be along to deal with you shortly.

At that speed the only thing it would be good for is close in ground support. I wonder what its survivability is.
In all seriousness I doubt this is really a combat aircraft but rather a full sized mockup to demonstrate the technological feasibility.
