Good article - I totally agree; Moose is doing a great job of trying to do his job without being herded by the press. He comes across as honest, sincere, and with no desire to become a TV Cowboy, like so many of the "other" law enforcement folks. Keep up the great work.
MOOOOOSE !!!

News-gathering has, effectively, become gathering at news conferences. It constantly baffles me that 3 major networks and a dozen cable stations pay reporters/ettes to stand at these conferences and "take notes". Then they all regurgitate that same garbage on different channels. Can anybody investigate anymore?
In the case of Clinton, I understand they wanted to studiously avoid investigation. But has it been permanently dropped from the job description? fsf

Chief Moose is a BAD joke who fumbles his way through his 3 or 4 news conferences a day.
Since the sniper attacks occured in two different states and DC, I don't understand why the FBI hasn't taken charge of the investigation.

Moose is a PC moron. He needs to spend less time entertaining the media and more time trying to catch the islamic terrorists killing his citizens.

I agree with you and the WSJ, too.
In light of all the evidence and other FACTS, plus the demographic considerations of this particular metropolitan area, Chief Moose continues to do the best possible job that any local police chief could have done in this very, very unique and unprecedented situation.
As both a local community and pro-RKBA leader here in the metro area, I am also happy to note that Chuck Moose has not uttered one word regarding gun-control or any other anti-RKBA statements, no matter how much baiting the national press has done regarding guns in general. That's more than I can say for all the local and national politicians around here, especially those who have chosen to use this murder spree for their own political gain.
Chief continues to have the support of the pro-RKBA community here and, NO, we do NOT want the Feds taking over this investigation.
Hats off to Chief Moose!

Man or Moose?
How about Horned Swagalur?

I do not think he should've cried. Understandable but not becoming a police chief.
