President Bush headed on the campaign trail once again today as he took a day trip to Georgia and Florida. While in Georgia, Bush stumped for Georgia gubernatorial candidate Sonny Perdue and senatorial candidate Saxby Chambless at a Republican fund-raiser in Atlanta. The President then headed to Florida, and was greeted by his brother, Jeb. President Bush promoted reading at Read-Patillo Elementary School in New Smyrna Beach and later spoke via satellite to the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Yes, they are as close. Very often Neil or Doro will be listed as guests at the White House or Camp David for the weekend.
Jeb and George are naturally a bit closer because they are the closest in age. Also, because they are both in politics, their pictures are in the paper a lot more.

Isn't if funny how the media said Bush was in Georgia because Chambless has a good chance of winning, but he is in Florida to avert a loss on his brother's part.

I know that the Bushes are only the second father and son ever to hold the office. Has there ever been a time before when the sitting President had a brother who was a Governor at the same time?No but I "think" when Rockefeller was VP his brother was a Governor at the same time.
To: reDublican
Yea but which is the "big" brother????

Psalm 88
A Prayer for Help in Despondency
1 [1] O LORD, God of my salvation,
I have cried out day and night before You.
2Let my prayer come before You;
Incline Your ear to my cry.
3For my soul is full of troubles,
And my life draws near to the grave.
4I am counted with those who go down to the pit;
I am like a man who has no strength,
5Adrift among the dead,
Like the slain who lie in the grave,
Whom You remember no more,
And who are cut off from Your hand.
6You have laid me in the lowest pit,
In darkness, in the depths.
7Your wrath lies heavy upon me,
And You have afflicted me with all Your waves.Selah
8You have put away my acquaintances far from me;
You have made me an abomination to them;
I am shut up, and I cannot get out;
9My eye wastes away because of affliction.
LORD, I have called daily upon You;
I have stretched out my hands to You.
10Will You work wonders for the dead?
Shall the dead arise and praise You?Selah
11Shall Your lovingkindness be declared in the grave?
Or Your faithfulness in the place of destruction?
12Shall Your wonders be known in the dark?
And Your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
13But to You I have cried out, O LORD,
And in the morning my prayer comes before You.
14LORD, why do You cast off my soul?
Why do You hide Your face from me?
15I have been afflicted and ready to die from my youth;
I suffer Your terrors;
I am distraught.
16Your fierce wrath has gone over me;
Your terrors have cut me off.
17They came around me all day long like water;
They engulfed me altogether.
18Loved one and friend You have put far from me,
And my acquaintances into darkness.

Stranger things have happened. You just never know. Some day when you least expect it, someone walks up to you and says, "Smile, you're on Candid Camera." All those "victims" couldn't believe it either but it was so. : )

Good point :-)
I remember that, during a speech, the president once referred to Jeb as "my big, little brother"...
To: reDublican
Two brothers who love each other.
Two men who stand up and are responsible.
Two brothers who support each other.
Can only imagine how nice the rest of the family is.
To George and Barbara Bush... WELL DONE KIDS.. :)

The entire family is close. Marvin lives in DC area and spends most weekends at Camp David with President Bush. Chck the White House guest list they are all on it. It appears George and Jeb are the closest (and they may well be) but they are just higher profile then the others so they are photgraphed more than the others when they are together.
