I only saw Ashleigh Banfield during 9-ll as I din't watch PMSNBC. Does she haave a particular view about men?

Back when this started and the media kept calling the sniper a guy, she quickly added, "or girl" as if she was insulted that everyone assumed the sniper was a man.

It often amazes me how clueless my co-workers are about current events. Of course I could be envious of them, living in their "nothing to see here, move along dream world. They don't seem to know much outside their own neighborhood.

Don't you find it amazing that we are 11 shootings into this and they are just now getting around to it?

Your frustration echos mine. I really hate it when people lose their lives due to incompetence. Democrats reap what they sow: touchy-feely policing = more people dead. Montgomery county is one of the key counties in the gubernatorial race here and a democratic stronghold. Sorry to bring politics into this.

We are so busy around here with 3 teenagers and a 9 yr. old. that we end up at Taco Bell more than I like. Sometimes the kids say, "Can you cook dinner?" :)

I have a co-worker who's cousin is a FReeper. Between the two of us, she gets plenty of activism email, and she'll stop by my office now and again and ask, "Did you get my cousin's email about all that mumbo-jumbo you all are involved in?" Sometimes, the "mumbo-jumbo" is about issues that directly involve her but not us directly (education, for instance--since neither of us have school-aged children). She's happy as long as she can afford to get her nails done and as long as Elizabeth Arden doesn't discontinue her shade of lipstick.

Don't apologize. I was willing to bet on it based on the people I've seen connected with the county. Also, it hired Portland's former Police Chief. I lived in the Portland area while he was Chief and it would have to be a very liberal dominated community to pick him for the job.

You know I was going with the Home Grown nutjob but now that I hear all this evidence I am now leaning heavily towards ME people who have decided to act on their own and create terror.

I leaned towards the Home Grown Nutjob myself. Yes, the evidence does heavily suggest that these heinous acts are being carried out by ME terrorists. Given what has happened in Bali and elsewhere, as we gear up to take Saddam out the events do kind of fit together. Especially, that this is occuring near our nation's capitol.
