I was using phonetic license. Don't you think it's odd that the Bush administration is putting a higher priority on keeping kids in schools than the personal safety of families?

In a few weeks this 'sniper hunt' might turn into a hunt for mall bombers, or the worse nightmare imaginable. I expect the bombings to start between now and Christmas. This snipe hunt is really draining resources in the DC area, perhaps something bigger is in the works and this is a distraction that's coming to a neighborhood near you soon.

So, knowing that at least 20% of the country or more don't have the guts to hang tough and keep the country going if they fear for their safety, what would you do if you were the President of the United States and didn't have enough information yet to conclude one way or the other whether it was a psycho or a terrorist cell.
Would you say, "It might be terrorists," and shut down D.C. or hang tight until you had more information?

Hate to tell you this "troll", I observed your MO at "TRU" for quite some time. Keeping things stirred up are you. It's amusing to the say the least.

You to: Demidog A minute ago you thought the possibility that this was a terrorist was ridiculous. Now that you can bash Bush, it's an okay theory?
This is Demidog's first post on this thread. Where was this?

Don't you think it's odd that the Bush administration is putting a higher priority on keeping kids in schools than the personal safety of families? Maybe his priority is to keep the country functioning in spite of the constant danger. You know, like the Brits did in WWII when the buzz bombs were coming in regularly?
Maybe he wants to save the country and we are all soldiers and on the front lines in this war, whether we choose to be or not.

The polititions all think their superbrained genius's and the American people are a bunch of drooling morons.
Could it be because we constantly, meekly let them F*ck us?

I pinged him here from another thread where he was ridiculing me for voicing the possibility that the sniper(s) is(are) terrorist(s).
To: scripter
I'm glad "they" have decided that we the public cannot handle
the truth that this may be M.E. terrorism at play here. My question is: What is "their" plan to out-smart these pukes?
I've had enough of their press conferences showing that damned
"astro-van" How about you?
To: patriciaruth
A minute ago you thought the possibility that this was a terrorist was ridiculous I did? I've never said that. I have however said that claiming it is without any substantial evidence is ridiculous. Be that as it may, that doesn't cahnge the fact that Bush has priorities way out of whack if he is more interested in keeping kids in school than giving the public all the information it needs to make decisions about its own safety.

Maybe his priority is to keep the country functioning in spite of the constant danger. So, a child missing a couple of days of school is a national crisis that is even more important than the safety of the children being targetted for murder at those very schools?

Maybe his priority is to keep the country functioning in spite of the constant danger. You know, like the Brits did in WWII when the buzz bombs were coming in regularly? My dad was in London during WW2 ... I have heard many stories of his time there, and we visited just this past year. The people in London during WW2 managed to 'keep a stiff upper lip' because the government was frank and up front with them during that time, not playing PC games with the truth. America is stronger and smarter than the people inside the beltway think. We deserve to be told what will keep us safe as a nation, not what will keep us bleating passively in the fields while we are hunted down.
