Don't you think it's odd that the Bush administration is putting a higher priority on keeping kids in schools than the personal safety of families?

Maybe his priority is to keep the country functioning in spite of the constant danger. You know, like the Brits did in WWII when the buzz bombs were coming in regularly?

Maybe he wants to save the country and we are all soldiers and on the front lines in this war, whether we choose to be or not.

So, a child missing a couple of days of school is a national crisis that is even more important than the safety of the children being targetted for murder at those very schools?

My dad was in London during WW2 ... I have heard many stories of his time there, and we visited just this past year. The people in London during WW2 managed to 'keep a stiff upper lip' because the government was frank and up front with them during that time, not playing PC games with the truth. America is stronger and smarter than the people inside the beltway think. We deserve to be told what will keep us safe as a nation, not what will keep us bleating passively in the fields while we are hunted down.
