More like this please (school kids attack PETA goons!)

MORE LIKE THIS, PLEASE:

Sean Gifford of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and an unidentified man in a cow-suit had planned a peaceful protest at the gates of the Grammar School to let pupils know about the claimed hazards in milk.

But they had to be rescued by two female police officers when the teenage pupils launched a violent protest of their own.

About 100 children, shouting "milk for the masses" and carrying banners, surrounded Mr Gifford and his "cow" partner and drenched them both in milk for about ten minutes. The police eventually intervened and escorted the PETA members back to their car.

Yesterday’s protest was the latest in PETA’s nationwide drive to publicise what it claims are dangers in drinking milk. They have been handing out cards with cartoon pictures of characters suffering from wind, spots and obesity as a result of dairy products.

The cards tell kids to "give cows a break" and "be kind to animals and your butt and your gut" by avoiding milk.

But one pupil, Alan Smith, 16, said: "This is a stupid idea. We should be encouraged to drink milk and I certainly won’t stop drinking milk just because a man has dressed up as a cow outside my school."

One simple question for the PETA crowd.

If people stop drinking milk.....what good are dairy cattle?

The only reason dairy cattle are alive is to give milk.

I've got a 17 year-old that can go through a gallon in couple of days.

My kids used to spill that much.

Yes, it's called suburban zoning laws.

Ah, I can smell the government condescension

Disgusting, isn't it? Give me animal manure any day.

I actually live in one of the few places in suburban So-Cal where livestock can still be kept, but it's an endless battle to keep it that way because yuppie newcomers always want to change the rules.

CROWING ROOSTERS RULE! ZONING LAWS SUCK!

Been there too. It's all part of the Great Master Plan. Nothing you can do about it, just wait it out, and realize that there's a reason kids and dogs go together.

No, and thank God it isn't, because the powers-that-be have NO IDEA, biochemically speaking, what "health food" actually is -- they're mostly brainwashed vegetarian/lowfat/tofu worshippers and will never concede that naturally raised meat and milk are among the best foods a human being can eat. They are equally close-minded to the research showing that a high-carb diet (which all vegetarian diets necessarily are) is distinctly bad for a significant % of the population. Hence, the "mandatory" diet they would prescribe, would be very unhealthful for a lot of people.

Reading your left wing code words makes "unprovoked" a little far-fetched.

It isn't the going into puberty at 9 that bothers me, it is the leaving it at 90 that gripes my buns.

You mean maybe straining it through your kidneys first?

I was remembering what happens when a baby gets a tummyache after drinking a full bottle in this case. But, your example would work just as well.

Milk protest turns sour

HELEN MORGAN

POLICE had to break up an animal rights protest yesterday when schoolchildren in Aberdeen pelted activists with cartons of milk.

Mr Gifford said: "I have travelled all over the UK with this protest and I have never seen anything like this before. It must be something to do with children in Aberdeen. I think they just got a bit over-excited. I’m sure they will still go home and think about our message."

There's some nasty stuff that can live in unpasteurized milk, like brucellosis

That is exactly why they began pasturerizing milk, wine, etc. in the first place...disease. My mom told stories of how she drank milk staight from the cow. She got undulating fever. Luckily, there was a "druggist" (not a doctor, not a pharmacist) in the town that knew exactly what she needed to make her well.

Mooo!
Good for the kids, PETA has no business harassing students.
Although, in fairness, the animal products served in Public Schools
in my day were not, in my opinion, treated ethically.

Those cafeteria people could take a perfectly nice load of
meat and turn it into an unrecognizable mess..

"Vegetarian, Old Indian word meaning "lousy hunter."

I actually gave my best friend a shirt like this for Christmas last year...he complained about all the "bunny huggers" he was surrounded by where he lived, so we decided to give them something to gasp about! :) It worked.....

Makes you wonder if they had real teats on their suits. If they were male, I'd be suspicious about the location.
