MORE LIKE THIS, PLEASE:
Sean Gifford of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and an unidentified man in a cow-suit had planned a peaceful protest at the gates of the Grammar School to let pupils know about the claimed hazards in milk.
But they had to be rescued by two female police officers when the teenage pupils launched a violent protest of their own.
About 100 children, shouting "milk for the masses" and carrying banners, surrounded Mr Gifford and his "cow" partner and drenched them both in milk for about ten minutes. The police eventually intervened and escorted the PETA members back to their car.

Milk, in its natural state, is good for you. And it's great for growing children, as evidenced by 8000 years of post-Neolithic European history -- natural selection favored the milk drinkers causing the lactase persistance gene to become common among whites. This wouldn't have happened if milk was harmful -- selection would have DISfavored milk users. Excellent point. But then again it seems vogue today to ignore science that focuses in any way on natural selection or genes.

As usual...you exhibit your lack of knowledge. I am or never have been or ever claimed to be ... a vegetarian.
Another thing....I was called names first...as always.
So ... begone.

You seem to be the victim of leftist propaganda based on junk science.
The declining puberty age, just like increasing height and numerous other human physiological/biological trends are a direct result of improved diet. These trends have existed since well before anyone knew anything about hormones or steroids or anything like that. A reasonable examination of historical trends will show you this.
As civilization advances, so does the quality and quantity of human nutrition, resulting in more people achieving levels closer to their natural potential.
Remember, the radical left wants you to be weak and stupid. Persuading you to deprive yourself and your children of good nutrition is just one of their strategies. You should base your dietary concerns on real science and real research, not feckless innuendo.

yoy have her pegged correctly.
To: Sungirl
There is NO evidence that milk causes early puberty. You are full of it as usual. Spout your lies elsewhere please.
To: N. Theknow
Ask Sungirl that question. She is a PETA supporter.
To: calenel; PleaseNoMore
Well..as I stated...I'd only wait for the 2 years for babies. But I do believe that farmers are pumping their livestock and fowl with hormones to make them grow faster. Cows are bigger alot sooner than they used to be..also chickens. I think that they know it will make more money for them and do not care about any side effects it may cause people. Also, I personally don't drink milk just because it's too many calories...not because of any hormones.
But...do you think that post #35 ..that PleaseNoMore and her Doctor are also under leftist propoganda? DO you think that all those other posts where people are only drinking organic milk are all misled?

A few years back in Puerto Rico, there were boys (and girls), but of course the boys were noticed more, because they were growing breasts! They discovered that the chickens raised by the local farmers had a very high content of estrogen!

Cows are bigger alot sooner than they used to be.
Source?? Not PETA, either.
Why do holsteins need to be bigger anyway?? So they will eat more, and cost more to raise??
To: Sungirl
I wish I was a little more little!
To: HelgaHawk
source please?
To: gratefulwharffratt
No..I just saw something on the news about this..or a documentary somewhere.....that cows are only allowed so much time before they are slaughtered and how farmers have reduced this time to like a few months....because it does cost so much to feed and shelter them so they have to move them out quicker to make more money.....and how they feed them food to make them get big SOONER than normal...
You don't believe that?

You are correct. If you go back and read the posts, you were called names first. I will say one thing though. We all, especially women, need the calcium supplied by milk, even if it's skim milk (which I will NEVER consume!), but everyone has their own tastes. The other issue is cholesterol. Yes, it's not good for you when you are an adult, but a growing child needs it, especially babies for brain development.
