HMedia circus: Geraldo Rivera autographs Hooters waitresses' backsides mere yards from sniper site.

Geraldo Rivera has a knack for getting to the bottom of a story.
The larger-than-life Fox News reporter swooped into Fredericksburg and spent the weekend to file reports following Friday's sniper shooting at the Four-Mile Fork Exxon.
He arrived at the scene at midday Friday, strutting around in a black leather jacket and blue jeans.
By 6 p.m. on the day of the shooting, Rivera was autographing the seats of Fredericksburg Hooters waitresses' skimpy orange shorts--while the women were in them.
The Hooters restaurant is located only about 50 yards away from the crime scene.
"He was posing for pictures with the Hooters Girls and signing their [rear ends]," said Geoff Leach, a Caroline County resident who was at the restaurant late Friday afternoon.
"I thought it was pretty tasteless, considering the timing and the proximity to the scene of the killing," Leach said. "It was a circus atmosphere."
...
Rivera declined to talk directly to a reporter, but relayed a comment through Zimmerman.
"He said he was honoring the requests of his adoring fans," Zimmerman said.

Nice work if you can get it. No waitress ever asked me to autograph anything more fun than the credit card receipt...

I guess he was taken aback to find out that he had some fans. If he reads this thread, he might ask to autograph yours. Don't you understand, the man is a FAKE. It's all about him, he would do anything (fake sniper rounds) to get some attention. Plus, anyone that was in love with the Clinton's should be repulsive to you.

This is a man who one the day his wife was delivering his baby(as he admitted in his biography I've read a few quotes from it)he was having a three-way with his lovers. If I remember correctly he talked about how on that day the three of them made love and how it was so great all of this when his wife was giving birth to his child. Some smoke in the waiting room, some have sex with 2 women.
The only thing more distrubing than this man's own behaviour, is asking this man to sign your ass.

Come on people, lighten up....I don't like Geraldo anymore than the other 99.9 percent of the population. If Hooters girls came running after me looking for an autograph, I would be an absolute moron for not obliging.

Geraldo does his bit for Fox News. Other people report the news. He does the clown act.Aside from Whoraldo, the Fox coverage of the sniper shooting last night was pathetic -- I turned it on when a local channel reported the shooting, and couldn't get any facts over the endless droning of Greta, with "analysts" Ted Williams (formerly of the immensely efficient DC police) and some other psycho-babblers -- not to mention that the camera seemed to be stuck in a position that featured the antenna on a broadcast truck.
When I flipped on Fox & Friends this morning, they were giving air time to some pompous criminology academic whose ego vastly exceeded his logic.
MSNBC & CNN's politics reek, but when it comes to breaking news, at least they are better equipped to handle it. Fox apparently sees the need to make the news -- even tragic news -- entertaining.

Though he works for Fox, don't be fooled. He's the furthest thing from a conservative that they have ever had on their air.
I would much rather have seen them grab someone like John Stossel...

That is the main reason I would fight, and die if need be, for the United States of America. ;)

I agree with you..... I had to change to MSNBC last night. Greta and Ted are too much for me.

I wish he got killed in an air strike in Afghanistan.
Our guys were fighting and dying over there, destroying a tyranny, and all he could do is misreport live from Afghanistan a friendly fire accident and how "tattered" pieces of clothes lay about, and the sadness of it.
Despite the fact he was miles from where the fraticide happened.
He reminds me of those SNL "Continental" Sketches with Akroyd, Belushi, etc.
But thank God he isn't wearing a low neck line shirt, showing his chest hair, and drinking "champainga".
At least not yet.

I'm reminded of the line from the movie Tapeheads where the duo is shooting a music video and a bimbo says: "Are you from Hollywood? Sign my butt! Teach me to read!"

He's not married yet. He's going to have a BIG wedding at the end of this year. He has had a 20 something shack up honey for the past 2 years as he has been seperated from CeeCee, who was his affair when he was married to Kurt Vonegut's daughter.
His fiance's parents are younger than Geraldo, there is a 34 year age difference between Geraldo and his honey.
As required, here are photos.
