I'm just happy you had a nice weekend with your sister and that she has given you something to cherish and be thankful for. What would we do without happy memories?

It is such a scary feeling - the uncertainty - the not knowing where and when it will happen again and to whom? The fact that they are random killings is just terrifying. And the thing about so many killings like this is that there are other crazy people out there who 'get ideas' and think what fun it would be to do it in their city.

A boy had reached four without giving up the habit of sucking his thumb, though his mother had tried everything from bribery to reasoning to painting it with lemon juice to discourage the habit.

Finally she tried threats, warning her son that, "If you don't stop sucking your thumb, your stomach is going to blow up like a balloon."

Later that day, walking in the park, mother and son saw a pregnant woman sitting on a bench. The four-year-old considered her gravely for a minute, then spoke to her saying, "Uh-oh...I know what you've been doing."

Our Mommy didn't want us anymore because we couldn't get along with her mean cats. We were both born in November of 1999 but, we are not from the same parents. We have been together since we were babies and would really love a home that has no other dogs or cats. We would LOVE to stay together if you are willing to provide a home for both us. We will be three in November and would like to celebrate our birthdays in a new home with loving adoptive parents."

These rescue organizations are wonderful.

LOL! You know, after having his mug thrown in our faces day in and day out for 9 years (I wanted to gag the first time I saw him when he was only beginning to campaign for President) and seeing that phony tear in his eye and the biting of his lower lip, I wondered if the media would ever fall out of love with him, and now nearly two years later, thank GOD we finally don't see him every time we pick up a newspaper or turn on the TV.
