CNN Headline News is reporting that a woman has been shot near a Home Depot in Falls Church, VA, and that authorities are investigating whether this is another sniper attack.

I know what I wouild do. Immediately deport all non-citizens and illegal aliens. Close all mosques. Issue an Executive Order deputizing all American citizens and empowering them to carry loaded firearms. Issue weapons to everyone who wants one who can pass a security test. Issue letters of mark for open season on muslim terrorists, and waiver of liability if "mistakes" are made. Of course, this will not happen until far in the future.

The victims are unknown to the sniper but not random as to their color or gender. It is very sickening and evil. We have to add all of these folks to our prayers. I am concerned about election day. I'd be voting absentee ballot if I lived up there IMO.

That's what I began to focus on....the antics of that guy in the background.

It's not unusual to see people who know they are on tv to be seen on a cell phone calling someone to say...Look At Me! I'm on TV!

That scene usually takes place behind the morning gang of Fox And Friends or the fat guy who never has had a seat behind home plate at a major league before......to see that idiot yucking it up at a homicide scene was odd, to say the least.

My mistake about Alexandria being part of a county.

I'm very familiar with Kingstowne and other portions of F'fax County, though. Some Kingstowne addresses are written as being in Alexandria despite its being in F'fax County - this I know because my day care provider is in Kingstowne and the F'fax Co. Police set up speed traps at the end of her road. I live in SW Fairfax County, work in Alexandria and shop all over the county. I'm pretty familiar with a fair number of points in F'fax. Arlington County? Not so much, apparently. : )

Now you were going good for a while. I was totally agreeing with you - and still am - at least that far.

Twenty some years ago I was trucking OTR and was stopped one night in Louisiana at the front of a bad roadblock backup.The LEOs said there was a sniper,local nut they thought,that had lost it and was shooting at vehicles from the swamp.

The few LEOs there at the time didn't have enough long guns to go around and were tickled that I had a couple of scoped rifles and an AR 15 to lone them while they watched for muzzle flashes to target to keep the guy from shooting or at least off target,while others were trying to come up on the shooter from behind.

The LEOs recruited me to tell folks what was happening and get people to stay low in their vehicles.I took a 1911 .45 that would have been worthless for the range unless the nut moved in closer but it still gave me a sense of security in case the shooter had a friend up close.

I don't believe I could transport personal firearms OTR according to law at the time but not one of the LEOs said a thing to me except many thanks after their buds caught the guy.

Those three extra rifles and plenty of ammo at least helped keep the shooter off balance and worried even if the LEOs couldn.t get any good shots.

I don't know what the laws are in different areas but firmly believe if folks have to transport firearms in the trunk to be legal they should at least do that.You never know when something might come in handy

actually, the AN's moved its headquarters back to OHio or Indiana....their compound was auctioned off and sold to a local human rights group and then promptly burned.....

I always think that its the enemy you don't know that will do the most damage.....
