It's not unusual to see people who know they are on tv to be seen on a cell phone calling someone to say...Look At Me! I'm on TV!
That scene usually takes place behind the morning gang of Fox And Friends or the fat guy who never has had a seat behind home plate at a major league before......to see that idiot yucking it up at a homicide scene was odd, to say the least.
