The hunt for the D.C. area's Psycho Sniper took two huge leaps forward yesterday, as sources revealed detectives have a video that may hold the maniacal mass murderer's face - and officials released a composite picture of a white box truck believed to be the cold-blooded killer's ride. A surveillance tape reportedly caught a suspicious person during Wednesday evening's attack on a 53-year-old engineer, who was killed in Manassas, Va., by the mystery gunman who police say has killed eight and wounded two in his spree.

This can not be true. If there were a picture it would be all over the news and someone would immediately identify the shooter. Anything less would be irresponsible action by the police.

Cops yesterday said they're moving in on the killer - and his accomplice - whose spree began on Oct. 2 in Aspen Hill, Md.

They'll have him by the end of this upcoming week....

I'm thinking it might not be a very good picture. Might even be poor quality.

As it took them a week to draw up their "graphic aid" of an Isuzu-built truck, perhaps we'll see the composite drawing of the shooter by December.

The police may not be entirely convinced that the pic they have is of the killer. Release of false info can be disastrous in these situations.

Cops yesterday said they're moving in on the killer - and his accomplice - whose spree began on Oct. 2 in Aspen Hill, Md. Ok. Question.
Is there a reason why it is worded that way. Accomplice. Not the killers. Or the 2 killers. Or snipers, but the killer and his accomplice.
Do we have the shooter and a driver/spotter? Do we have a killer and someone from inside the PD who is feeding information?
Other scenarios?

Unless showing it might not make the libs too happy. The media dreaded "T" word (terrorism) many come into play. They can't afford to lose anymore support this close to an election.

What John Doe #2? It'll be a single perp by the time the FBI is done with this. And that one perp will be missing one leg. Right?! *smile*

A graphic aid composite composed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation was released today in Rockville, Md. Investigators hope the computer-generated graphic will help members of the public identify the vehicle that has been seen by witnesses at a number of sniper attack locations.Sketch of truck in sniper shooting is released***Short on strong leads 10 days after the shootings began in Montgomery County, the police are appealing to the public for the big break. A reward purse now tops $500,000. "We're hoping we get the information that leads to a suspect from someone out there before we have another shooting," one law enforcement official said. "That's what it's going to take -- someone telling us that it's this person or that person doing it."***

You really have to wonder if after all this time, they generate a picture of a truck with lettering superimposed on it and the press thinks this retouched photo is a "sketch?" So how do we believe anything from people who do not know the difference between a retouched photo and a sketch?

It's very possible that the perp could be fair-complexioned AND an Islamicist. Like from Chechnya...
