Just saw the rest of the pictures - their eyes speak volumes alternately of joy and sorrow.
God give the President and First Lady comfort, strength, and rest.

Thank you! I don't thank you each night but I want you to know that each night I wait for this wonderful the great pictures you put here and the work you do. We all appreciate the effort you put into furnishing us with the top photos of this wonderful man. Ok, OK, I'm a Bush-bot!!! I admit it. No I don't agree with everything he does but in my heart I do believe that he believes he is doing the right thing in all that he does. Make sense?

Hi!
Despite the dippointment we all felt at Jimmy Carter getting the Nobel, President Bush, demonstrating his usual sterling character, called the former president first thing this morning to congratulate him.
I couldn't have done it.

LOL. I have very good ESP!!! Jan and I have a stomach virus so she gets the tv and I get the computer!!! Our grandkids are going to Seattle tomorrow or very soon for their other grandmother's funeral. They got a call last night that she had died. She was only 10 years older than I but had been very ill for several years. She was a chain smoker.

**Bush, demonstrating his usual sterling character, called the former president first

Our President is a gentleman in the finest sense of the word. (And thank God HE had to call Carter and not me.)
I wonder how Clintoon is taking Carter getting the Nobel Peace Prize that Clintoon coveted for his legacy.

Clinton's green with envy.
BUT, unless things turn around in this country, I have the feeling even the snake will be awarded that prize someday.
Rintense? Stop sticking your tongue out. Not nice. Shame, shame, SHAME!

I don't know what they're watching, but that is one of the
cutest pictures I've seen of the First Couple!
Man, I'd love to sit down and talk with these two! I'd love to tell them what they mean to this country and thank them for their sacrifice and service. I'd love to talk with them about their kids, and their families and their faith, their love for each other.........
Not until heaven, I'm afraid! Oh, well......one can always dream! :o)
