Agreed. With your last 2 posts.

I'm hoping and praying it turns out that way, too, patriciaruth. I think that would be so absolutely delicious if our showing our power and will enabled others to topple Saddam without our direct involvement. I'll bet quite a few liberals would have apoplexy if that were to happen.
It seems so obvious to me that you must be in a position of strength to win .... I fail to understand why the whole world doesn't see that. I guess it takes common sense, which is, sadly, in short supply these days (except on FR!).

I have seen a few articles lately which tell me the dems are in real trouble. Even Donna Brazille said their donations dropped dramatically in August and Sept.
I am wondering if the "real" dems are getting ready to stage a rebellion against the ultra left libs? - I'm thinking they are planning to stay home.
I have also seen a couple of articles at The New Republic (a leftist rag), ragging on the dems for not standing up to Bush, and then another article for the dems not realizing that because Clinton thought it was okay to take out Sadaam, they could be for the regime change (weird how these people think).
I also saw a couple of conservative articles which were saying the dems are not using the right models in their polls - the dems are using pre-9/11, not post-9/11. Because they are not using the right models, their poll numbers are way off. A sample of that was how the LA Times poll turned out to be off by 7 points. If this is true, then the repubs are even ahead in some of the races which the dems think they are still in command of. The article also said that the dems polsters are having difficulty finding people who will answer their surveys. That comment made me suspicious that the "real" dems are deciding to sit out this election.
I'm not sure I want to get my hopes up, but it does seem to be looking better and better for conservatives everywhere.
With the extreme left slant to the media, I am very, very surprised this subject of the dems being in trouble keeps surfacing. One of the things I learned from our esteemed leader of the RNC in SD County, was that mailouts don't work; that's why he has put together a ground force instead. McAwful was boasting (in the same article with Donna Brazille), that they had planned a massive MAILOUT. I hope no one tells him they don't work; but I guess he'll find out.

Redub--it was a gorgeous light purple (not really lavender) tie with tiny little green circles on it kind of. I have photos of it somewhere but they aren't on this computer I think. It was great fun and only ended up being like $4 per person or something like that. Republic- I am glad you like the fantasy. It could happen, right?
Miss Marple--I think that GWB store is where I got my orange W2004 hat--they are great!
OWF---I still don't think that's our tie. But here is the list of people that contributed to the tie project (where have some of them gone to????):
Me (obviously), Republic, NYC GOP Chick, rintense, right-sidedNYer, IrishGOP, Wait4Truth, BigWaveBetty, Carolinamom,
mtngrl@vrwc, ALACA, kayak, TruthNtegrity, ELS, esther2, OhioWfan, JulieRNR21, Dubya_gal, hoosier_RW_conspirator, hillsborofox, and FRlurker.

Welcome Lizbet.
I just ordered the book today from Barnes & Noble. They said there would be a short delay - they were having problems keeping the book in stock. Hehehehe! And ... they promised to ship it within a couple of days - new shipment coming in.
I can hardly wait to read it. I'm just finishing "Slander" by Ann Coulter. It'll make you see red when you realize how the media systematically uses the same phrases and code words for all conservatives.

Is the lady with Laura really Cokie Roberts?? It just doesn't look like her at all.

Hmmmm? That's an interesting comment about Sammon. I read his book "At Any Cost", and I agree it too was an easy read - in fact it was so riviting, I could not put it down. I hope my copy of "Fighting Back" arrives soon.

Has anyone else noticed that since the last time we saw Mrs. Putin, she seems to have changed her 'do? It looks a lot more like Laura's hairdo now, doesn't it? Makes me wonder if she admires Laura. Can't say I blame her!

To: marylina
I can't believe how very much Mrs. Putin looks like the hildabeast from a distance. I also think that Laura looks quite a bit like Nancy Reagan.
To: lawgirl
Well lawgirl, if you have those, maybe you have the one of them in a hotel room, and the Pres is in a robe sitting on the edge of the bed, writing something or reading something, I can't remember. How about it??

Psalm 84
The Blessedness of Dwelling in the House of God
1 [1] How lovely is Your tabernacle,
O LORD of hosts!
2My soul longs, yes, even faints
For the courts of the LORD;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
3Even the sparrow has found a home,
And the swallow a nest for herself,
Where she may lay her young--
Even Your altars, O LORD of hosts,
My King and my God.
4Blessed are those who dwell in Your house;
They will still be praising You.Selah
5Blessed is the man whose strength is in You,
Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.
6As they pass through the Valley of Baca,
They make it a spring;
The rain also covers it with pools.
7They go from strength to strength;
Each one appears before God in Zion.[2]
8O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer;
Give ear, O God of Jacob!Selah
9O God, behold our shield,
And look upon the face of Your anointed.
10For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
The LORD will give grace and glory;
No good thing will He withhold
From those who walk uprightly.
12O LORD of hosts,
Blessed is the man who trusts in You!

Oooooh! What an awesome bag - how much is it??
To: mtngrl@vrwc
Didn't know you were here, mtngrl! I agree with you that from a distance, Mrs. P. looks a lot like Hitlery.
But the close-ups of the haircuts -- her hair looks softer and frames her face better than before, I think. I guess I mean the CUT itself is similar. Sheesh, I donno. I'm no beautician!
