I know you're right about all of that. They did the same things when the president and Mrs. Bush went to ground zero, but all of their hard work doesn't completely erase that feeling of uneasiness, that's all.

Hey, I went to that site and found this groovy bag. Now I'm thinking of using a portion of my tax cut to buy it.

That first photo that you posted is absolutely stunning. The lighting and colors are so soft and compliment her complexion beautifully.

I've been to a lot of wonderful art museums here and overseas, and sometimes I can't help but think that our First Lady climbed straight out of a Rembrandt or DaVinci.

She is too lovely for words.

Very good analogy! That picture looks like a Renaissance portrait...both in the colors, the clothing, and the 3/4 profile, characteristic of the Renaissance masters. (Daughter is an art student, can you tell? LOL!)

Glad you enjoyed the site. I am going to order some stuff after I make up my mind which things I want.

reading Fighting Back

I got so tired sitting up doing some more work on the taxes yesterday, that I lay down and thought, I'll just read one chapter.

Ha!

When it became obvious I was going to keep going and might be up real late, I decided to skip the non-Bush chapters and go back and read them later. So, I skipped over the pre-9/11 Democrats chapter, the Osama chapter, and the media that failed their "we will not tire" test chapter.

Lots of goodies in this book for everyone. Details that women love, and the rock 'em and sock 'em attitude that men love.

I've decided I'm going to give this book to a couple of Dem relatives for Christmas. HehHeh.

Outstanding news about our stopping terrorist at our embassy.

News on Local San Diego station said Marines (our local guys at Camp Pendleton) have been ordered to Kuwait. I'm not surprised, my newphew was just ordered to Ft. Worth (big supply depot). They have been waiting for 4 months for orders.

I heard the same kind of phone call - the guy said the same thing. I thought it was from Rush's show - but I could be mistaken.

But you and I know who is right in the end. And so does God.

Well said.

And love to President Reagan and Nancy. And prayers for President George W. Bush and his family as they carry on Ronnie's great and Noble work for peace.

Prayers, kiddo, are in order. And, do you ever get up to OC????????

And, for ALL....Oprah's got another show coming up, called "Is War The Only Answer?" (or something like that). There's a poll on her site right now that's user-friendly. I've pinged a bunch of you.

I hardly watch ANY TV....but this is far too important. If you feel so inclined, please go to her site and check this thing out.

http://www.oprah.com/tows/tows_landing.jhtml

That's the poll. Right below that, if you click it on, is something regarding the upcoming show schedule. Thanks.

Voted. I think we have given weapons inspections and the U.N. their chance for eleven years. The vision of a nuke in D.C. haunts me, although I think a simultaneous bomb and cyber attack on the NYSE is the most likely at the moment.

Any chance for peace is by poising tens of thousands of troops and tanks on the Iraq border, and then saying, "I'm going to ask you once more, nicely...."

Still praying for a coup.
