Well right now they are looking for a white male with brown or black hair and wearing a grey sweatshirt so maybe today he acted alone and on other occasions he has a partner so as to confuse the police and any witnesses.

Maybe, but when the Trade Towers were hit, Fox read their report of a small plane..., I changed to CNN and they were already on the scene with video streaming...Fox headquarters out of NY and CNN out of ATlanta, if they get beat in their own backyard, what is the deal?

Why is FOX always late on breaking news? As much as I hate CNN, I must admit for breaking news, they are always head of the game. I think it goes in cycles... My theory is that FOX NEWS is still recovering from their report of a shotgun in Manassas. Now they are trying to get second sources, to limit false reports.

I would tend to believe that it's probably nothing related. With that dragnet this morning, the shooter probably decided to lay low in Virginia for an extra day.

or maybe a team that is simply sharing a single rifle around
I sort of doubt that. Anytime you get more than one person involved in a crime that's one more chance to be caught as someone talked. I would hope that in a group someone has a conscious and would talk to police. With one lone nut he keeps it to himself.

Side note.....commentator said it was 'reprhensible' for any group to start calling for more gun control, using these shootings to advance their agenda.
Still no update on alleged gun shots.....

Awesome, thanks!
OK, I just came up with my tinfoil theory du jour. If President Bush were to say 'terror' and then 'Tarot', wouldn't they kind of sound the same? I know he tends to say 'terrists'.
Just something that occurred to me. Probably not worth the time it took to type it, but as long as people are speculating, I might as well.

CNN repports no shots fired on school grounds, but maybe somewhere else. oribably dove hunters. We have deer season in in Indiana. It sounds like a war zone around my house. I live in the country and have deer around all the time.

"If this ain't terrorism, what the hell is the definition of the word?" If Terrorism is defined as "willful acts designed to promote terror in the civilian population", then this definitely qualifies.

FOX just had on a former police chief from NYC...he said that the reports of multiple suspects make him feel as though the possiblity of terrorists should not be eliminated.
He said that generally serial killers don't work with others.
However, who knows how accurate those reports have been.

Any backfire, or even some punk with a firecracker, is going to be reported as "shots fired", I'm afraid. Not that anyone can blame residents for being paranoid.
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that someone isn't out to get you.

Why is FOX always late on breaking news? As much as I hate CNN, I must admit for breaking news, they are always head of the game. Not last night. Fox cut to the Senate voting live and made the call as soon as 51 yes votes were announced. CNN, MSNBC and others were still on their primetime re-runs...
