NEWSFLASH: Another shooting, approx. 9 AM, this time near Fredericksburg

I work in a newsroom in Fredericksburg, and they heard on the police scanner that a person has been shot at a gas station at "Four Mile Fork" which is a neighborhood just south of the City of Fredericksburg.

No details yet, but I wanted to let y'all know -- and keep up the tradition of FReepers getting news first.

Pray for the victim, and pray that this is a random shooting, and that this monster's terror has not widened yet again.

I used to have a computer that would wipe out TV channel 5 (signal from a rooftop antenna). After I transferred the components to a decent quality case (an AOpen), you could barely tell that the computer was on when watching channel 5.

Unfortunantly, there are a lot of cheap junky computer cases on the market that don't have the shielding to prevent interference...

What difference does it make how it looks? I hear this all the time from the gun-grabber crowd. Oooh, it's scary looking. I'm tellin' ya, any gun with a muzzle pointing in your direction is "scary looking". The gun-grabbers just love to ban "ugly-looking" guns, and this is one of them, based on its looks. A black gun. That's what I meant. It seems that your comment about the "scary looking weapon" would have sparked a lot of reaction. Usually does.
