The details of this crime sent a chill to my bones, and made me doubt that G_d could have created these two black punks.

I read on another thread that it took 18 days to select the jury.

I would not be surprised if these sh!tbags were acquited, as a result of the jury selection process (which throws out anyone with a shred of intelligence or decency).

If it were just about robbery... They would only have been robbed.

However, Sedgwick County, Kansas District Attorney Nola Foulston reportedly said she would not charge the suspects with committing hate crimes because she believes the murders were motivated by robbery and not racial hatred.

and besides......

[Foulston noted that] the state of Kansas does not have a hate crime statute.

The randomness of the attacks was especially chilling. It could have been anyone.

Yes, Mr. Editorial Board of the WEB. But it is statistically flabbergasting that 100% of the randomly chosen victims were of the same racial makeup. Just gobsmacking that such an anomaly could occur. fsf

Perhaps in the next election someone should run an ad where family members of the victims say that Nola Foulston's refusal to call it a hate crime was like having them killed all over again.

Foulston noted that the state of Kansas does not have a hate crime statute. Without a statute I don't think she can charge them. Does anyone here think Kansas needs a hate crimes statute? I certainly don't.

Give 'em the death penalty, but for murder, rape and robbery, not thought!

One of the shareholders in the firm I work for lost his nephew in this crime spree. The only way race figures into this is that the defendants and victims are all members of the human race. Some are more worthy of this honor than others.

Some residents in the area claim the murders would have been prosecuted as hate crimes had the skin color of the alleged gunmen and their victims been reversed.

I know that I hate crime!

Interesting how they skip to the end so quickly. The article mentions the word rape once, and nothing more about sexual abuse from the entire story. Hours of rape, sexual abuse, and forced intercourse aren't a problem in Kansas?

One thing that amazes me in this case is how none of the victims attempted to defend themselves. Am I wrong?

I would rather go out going for the guy's gun than on my knees naked in the snow, begging for mercy.

District Attorney Nola Foulston reportedly said she would not charge the suspects with committing hate crimes because she believes the murders were motivated by robbery and not racial hatred.

Black people are the most racist people in America today.

This Kansas case is a clear example of a hate crime. But whites are victims of far more subtle bias everyday from the millions of black workers nationwide, from mall cashiers to government bureacrats (overwhelmingly black in most urban areas).

I was in Home Depot the other day, and every single employee was black. No one knew anything about anything, or where anything was ("I dont know, not my department"). That is, unless the customer was black...after I was rebuffed, I saw the same employee helping black customers left and right ("Oh I'm sorry, I'm not sure, but let me take you to someone who knows...please come with me"). Only the white manager would help me find what I needed. My wife routinely has problems returning items in stores, even with receipts, and has to work her way through 3-4 black women before she gets a white supervisor who will actually honor the store's policy. She complains as much as she can, but it is no use. Swimming against the tide.

Yet whites in Maine, in Kansas and all across the country continue to pretend that blacks are victims of racism, and allow themselves to feel guilty and be "punished". The minute whites say "Enough!" and reject the fiction of black victimhood, this madness will come to an end and perhaps there can finally be progress in race relations.
