Also, I heard Mark Fuhrman say the police are exhausted and eating junk food and that they can't keep up this pace much longer. (Hint hint....) If I lived in the area, I think I'd be inclined to cook up a batch of chicken soup or stew or brownies, or etc, and deliver them to the closest police station!
Can anyone in the area verify this and spread the word? I will say that the media (and I'm including talking heads in that category) have tended towards dramatizing things and filling up air time ..... but I'm sure this has been an exhausting, frustrating, stressful, emotionally draining time for all the LEOs involved.

My sister is a Crime Scene Investigator for Montgomery County Md. Police and she said everyone is burning the candles at both ends.
I think the chicken soup and other healthy foods for our LEO's would be a great idea. I will spread the word.
I have been volunteering at the local school near me to watch the parimeter of the scholl and walk the kids into the scholl as they get off the bus. There are many other people offering the same help. The local gas stations near my shop in Kensington are offering free full service and I find it quite amazing how well everyone is pulling together to help those who are scared. We live in a great country

Kayak, I have to clarify that Fuhrman was speaking about his own recollections of being in similar intense situations. He said police spend long hard hours at the station and live on junk/fast food because they don't have time to go home for a decent meal.
He said it's extremely exhausting and difficult to maintain one's concentration for a prolonged period of time.
My heart tends to lead me.... I hear of a need and I try to fill it. This definitely hit me as a need FReepers could fill.

Please see #106 and #110. Can you help get the word out?
