A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 10/10/02

Speaking from the Roosevelt Room at the White House, President Bush thanked the House for passing an Iraq resolution by a vote of 296-133. Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle shocked many today as he crossed party lines that he had drawn a few weeks ago, and decided to back the President's plan. The White House also announced today that Bush will be traveling a lot between now and November 5th, traveling to key election states such as South Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan and Florida. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

You asked why Taylor withdrew. If more
"pictures" might exist. Whether he is
actually Gay & should he just admit it
(or say it's not relevant).
Well, these are constantly-running TV
Ads. All I know is, he says he cannot
afford $$$ to fight them. That he was
down in polls already, & NOW has sunk
like a stone in water!
Taylor is married & a father. He says
no way do his wife & son need this!!
Finally, he claims NOT to be Gay, but
says the Ad's video implies he is by
showing him with a male customer in a
beauty school shop he owned, dressed
in flamboyant '70's attire(think of a
Brady Bunch male look & add on what a
beautician might wear), and rubbing
lotion on the guy client's face.
McLynnan said she saw it; so did I. &
we agree--this video clip had nothing
to do with specific charges in the Ad.
Taylor knows Baucus will win, HUGE! I
see why he doesn't want another month
of this crud.

From
Saturdy Night Live - May 18, 2002:
Jim Lehrer: Well, that brings us to the close of tonight's debate. Each candidate will now give a brief closing statement. Al Gore: Jim, may I make two closing statements?
Jim Lehrer: I'm afraid not. In fact, we are almost out of time, so I will instead ask each candidate to sum up, in a single word, the best argument fo his candidacy. Governor Bush?
George W. Bush: Strategery.
Jim Lehrer: [ stunned ] Vice-President Gore.
Al Gore: "Lock-box".
Jim Lehrer: This concludes the first debate! . Thank you, and "Live, from New York, it's Saturday Night!"

Here's one of my favorites from that site, DrDeb. I'm sure we've all seen it at one time or another, but it doesn't hurt to post again...

The only thing that bothers me about this is ...
If murder and war are sometimes justified, in defense of self and liberty, when do dirty politics and election fraud become justified?

Me too. He's quite the dashing young man in that shot. But the thing about that photo is I always wonder who the person is sitting next to him. See the arm? I guess that's sort of a weird thing to wonder, but I'm curious just the same :-)

Hi Everybody. Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday. I didn't get a chance to look at the Dose until everyone had already gone to bed. I am volunteering for Elizabeth Dole about 8 hours per day, organizing the Republican Booth at our State Fair, am an accountant and have an October 15 deadline and am having major renovations done at my house, so am so busy, I don't get a chance to get on early enough to comment anymore, but I did want all of you to know how much I appreciated the Birthday greetings.

"When will Santorum put Spincter out
of a job?"
I don't understand!
Specter is the senior PA senator, Rick
is the junior PA senator. They each
represent their state in the Senate.
What one could do to put the other out
of the Senate, I don't know.
But, like you, I wish A.S. were gone!

The photos are wonderful. President Bush was very somber as he thanked the House for their part in authorizing whatever it takes to protect us. The responsibility is awesome. This man, our President had every right to say NENNER NENNER NENNER to daschle.
But the classy gentleman that he is, he continues to prove he is not HAUGHTY, nor is he BOASTFUL, he is just doing the work for the American People. God Bless President Bush and God Bless America.

I'm only a lefty in my left hand. I'm a full blown republ. and supporting the RNC, Senatorial committee and a house candidate, one great man, Chris Chocola. We had dinner in South Bend with our Pres. (but then there were 2000 other great people there too.) So I say I'm a Bush nut.

I have heard several who claimed to be Democrats call in to Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity. Most have said they don't like what the Democrats are doing and don't respect them, and they do respect W.
Hopefully, they are telling the truth, but it makes me wonder just how many there are out there who are displeased and if it will make a difference at the polls? I hope and pray that it makes a huge difference. The Dems look at polls, but they notice more electoral results.

Sorry missed your birthday. But hope it was a blessed one. Reading your post about volunteering for DOLE. Thank you sooo much for all you do. This is important now and always. I just had to thank you for your time because so many are becoming complacent since President Bush has been in the big house and doing sooo well. But we must help him get and maintain the majority.
Funny as it may seem it can start at the judicial races sooooo many times so I am urging people to find out about the incumbents records etc....Texas has alot of judicial races that are very critical.
ALL SAID AND DONE THE RATS HAVE MADE ME SOOOOO MAD, I AM VOTING STRAIGHT REPUBLICAN THIS TIME. ya know these new voting machines in all, I don't want to pull a florida and mezzzz up. hehehe
