"Maybe O'Reilly figures we are getting the story most all day long.I think O'Reilly covers stories that he can offer HIS "solution" too and in this case, he may not have one.

LOL Fred! Very soon. I couldn't sleep now if I wanted to. Trombone practice in progress. 15 more minutes. *smile*

He is a plain and simple serial killerI agree. BTW, I think that your posts are right on target.
It sure seems like he is settling into an early morning shooting routine. Like a cup of coffee! I think that it's right before he goes to work. Which would mean that he scouts out the locations the day/night before. (I agree that early killings were planned earlier, but now he has a shorter cycle.)This could explain the need for days off.

I played online gaming a little but my computer isn't fast enough. This is a pasttime for people with super computers and lots of time. That would fit into the profile. The games also get frustrating because someone can wait for you to recover from being "killed" and snipe you immediately. Again, this could lead someone to seek out unsuspecting victims.
This is only another guess but it wouldn't take much for investigators to check out. It easier than seeing who bought a box of .223 in the last two years.

I told ET that if he/she didn't get to bed he/she would start hallucinating.....now ET is hearing a trombone!

Nothing on the folks in the white van yet???
Indication of a carefully worded statement to come??
Wouldn't it have been discounted by now if "nothing here"???

haha Well, guess I'm caught up with the thread. Going to check mail and see what's shaking on the latest posts page, and get some sleep.
Been fun and will look for all later.

That's really true. And they should have rooms of researchers just running possiblities like this. I know they are getting tons of calls from kooks giving them really dumb ideas, but if they want to catch this guy they need to find a way to gather and followup on the good ideas that are coming in from the public.

One of the Manasas spokesmen just admitted to Shep that this is most likely linked to the other shootings, although a complete analysis had not been done.

I mentioned video games at the beginning but it was Pete or someone else who made the connection to "Navy Seals" and later someone mentioned the game.
I was thinking more on the lines of the game, "Silent Scope" back then.

Don't get too down on people like me who speculate that this is Islamist terror. There are several good reasons for this speculation: Previous attempts to manage news, especially the LAX shooting, initial reports about the Shoe Bomber, bus slashing (two now), AA587 (and now we had a second incident of the same shoe-bomb explosives found on a plane in France), and the whole "domestic anthrax" thing makes people aggravated. It would be SWEET to trash some bureucrat's reputation on one or more of these lies. And trashing one such weasel would be a deterrent to the next.

A good portion are saying that the Democratic Congress might as well resign now since it's obvious they don't have the convictions to stand up to Bush. For once, I agree with them - let the Democrats in Congress resign... (evil grin)
Thanks for checking up on them. You've got a stronger stomach than I do, that's for sure...

You said you thought it was interesting that the Gaithersburg man was in Manassas because the cities are not that close, therfore maybe he was a specific target.
I doubt, however, if this shooting is related (which most of us believe it is) he was targeted for any other reason except for it's randomness.
For a while, my dad commuted to Manassas from Rockville for work. I'm sure others do, too. Not that I know that's the case here but it's not uncommon to do things in any of the nearby states because they are relatively close by.
Just my opinion, anyway. :)

Video game arcades are also the most video surveilanced places in the world but unfortunatly they also have high traffic. People run in, play a little and then run out again. That would be impossible to check unless they went to a particular sniper game and see if "God" was a high scorer.
