UPDATE: An Asian man in a black Honda is being sought as a witness (only as a witness) in the Sunoco gas station slaying, I-66, Manassas, Virginia. The police talked to this witness last night! Are you looking at an old page?

...keep us updated.

Must be then. I hadn't seen the item referring to the roadblock anyplace else, though. That was the breaking item, i assume. The witness was backgrounder, i assume.

Yeah, it doesn't fit my theory but, . . . why not alter the m.o. as conditions dictate. He would not want to be seen walking to his vehicle with a large bag of some sort after a nearby shooting.

I have to go away in about 15 minutes. Be gone about 15 minutes. LOL Then I'll probably catch up with the thread and then GO TO SLEEP for a while.

Saw on CNN and mentioned in the 200 posts (?) that police had a vehicle cordoned off and asked people from the local area to evacuate.

Field stripping a rifle doesn't but take a minute and he may be throwing it into a backpack...who knows...

My apologies, then. Didn't scroll thru the whole thread.

You would have to change that to the .223 Remington varmint bullets disintergrate and not the 5.56 military full metal jacket. I haven't read a report so far that indicates there are any different bullet characteristics. It appears to be full metal jacket.

Here is a link to a Yahoo search on the Zebra Killers:
(link to articles on Zebra Killers)This is another example of our left wing maggot media doing the PC thing to spike the terrible reality of violence than is equal opportunity and that minorities commit terrible hate crimes.

Do you happen to know the full name of Mr. Ebert? Will explain when I find out.
To: swarthyguy
Heard most of that. Can vouge for closure of 234?? During wee morning hours there was a conference and the police were asked how long it would be closed. Think they said it would reopen in the morning (what time? not sure, but took it to be between 6-8 roughly)
Anyone familiar with the area? By closing the one road did would this force ALL traffic to have to use 66? Trails?
Maybe they got the guys, and are keeping it quiet to see if there are any more out there yet?
To: Fred Mertz
Go to bed. That's an order! Pretty soon! *smile*

WTNT AM 570 has a 'local' show on at 4, Michael Graham? Glenn Beck is discussing the shooting now on AM 570.

They also have so little knowledge that they call the cartridge case a "casing". It's not a sausage.

Pete check out the Michael's map at #439 I saw it. I like how you have circled the areas where the shootings occurred.
I have been using the map from the Michaels site, which is similar to yours (is that where you got it?) to speculate where the next shooting would take place. That is how I came up with the 3 possibilities on Tuesday, which included the Manassas site from last night.
I speculated in my #154 post on this thread that the next out of town shootings would be up 270 in either Germantown or Frederick. Note, that the park is closer to the shopping center at the Frederick site.

A .223 is a high power. That's how the NRA differentiates the High Power matches from the .22 rimfire matches. This seems to be the only time the media has it right.
