Also benches in front of post officesI don't get the environmental connection to that one. Suggestions?
To: SevenDaysInMay
What if someone like you, sees you, all fully-loaded, and shoots you? Would your family mind, would you? I really hope you're not serious.
To: browardchad
The bench was not made out of organic, environmental materials.
To: stuartcr
I'm glad to hear your keeping an open mind. God help us if I'm right, because like you said, in this country this could go on indefinately. But I kinda believe it will go on longer if everyone rules out that this is indeed a paramilitary action. They way the media is touting this as being a one man job, makes me even more suspicious.
Oh, and for my "radar system" I'm pretty sure it's a surface search. The fire control option usually comes after a good meal at McD's. :-}

He was shot at a car dealership.

"Will it destroy your whole belief structure if he really turns out to be just a domestic wack-job?"
No, but it may very well get in my way of the right to keep and bear arms. Plus, doesn't it make you a little suspicious that the media keeps hounding us that it is in fact just a domestic wack-job?
To: walkingdead
The media, no matter which one, has to tout is in some way, otherwise there would be dead air...that doesn't sell. I'm sure the people in front of the cameras are going to say only what there bosses approve of.

I think terrorists would have more than one firearm. It's also possible that a cell of terrorists would have killed at the same time in two or more different areas.
I still don't know if it's two people involved. One person would brag using the tarot card but I don't see why two people would have to explain to others know what they're doing. The card did say "I" instead of "We".

"I'm sure the people in front of the cameras are going to say only what there bosses approve of."
My point exactly. Now ask yourself, who is telling the bosses what to say, and why?
Imagine for a moment that our government knew it was terrosists. Do you think they would come out and tell us? And if they did, what kind of effect would it have on society/economy/people?
disclaimer for all: I am only theorizing, I have no idea who or what is doing all of this. I do know that we don't search Muslims on planes for fear of "racial profiling". Now, nobody will say this may be terroism for fear of being labeled a racist. It's no good man....
To: antivenom
He can't fire two shots. Apparently the triangulation of the two shots would give away his position precisely.

it took, what, a year for son of sam to slip up. Are you suggesting that he was not a lunatic?

I would not rule out a group just because of an individualistic act such as the Tarot card. There may well be some lose cannons in a theoretical group/cell who may want to stand out so to speak. It may also explain why they would not want this detail released to the press. Slipping up like this could cost someone their life if this was a group act.

And around here, you get flamed if you suggest homegrown. Which I think it is.

Not at all, SOS was definately a lunatic. But was his signature in any way military? No, heck the dude would shoot someone, then run around the corner and wack it.
To: ET(end tyranny)
I'm just getting the feeling that it is a group. homegrown or not, I couldn't tell you right now. However most of the homegrown groups we know of have an agenda and none of these killings seem to fit any of the domestic agendas I am aware of.

It seems very unlikely that a terrorist cell would own only one firearm.
To: ET(end tyranny)
I don't know man, I'm one of the only ones leaning the other way, and I've got everyone on my case. I don't rule out homegrown, heck there's probably a better chance it is, but I don't like the lack of belief that it could actually be something else. Hey McVey might have been something else....
