My guess is that the families know more information than the police want the general public to know - e.g., nature of the wounds. Also, there is every reason to believe that the lives of family members could be in danger.

Personally, I find the parade of victims families after these kinds of events voyeuristic. And there must be some people in this world who would prefer not to have TV cameras documenting their grief...

I also find it distasteful. But, my radar goes up when NO major news networks has had any interviews with families of these multiple shootings.

No body has said whether there was anyone else in the car or was walking back to the car. We might have a witness with some "awareness" and also some videos. The cops are at a disadvantage with night time in play.
