BREAKING: One more shooting in DC area

FOXNEWS just reported that another shooting has happened in the DC area (Prince George?). A man was shot an killed at a gas station.

Lots of "I am God" references on the net. Apparently, it's a Wiccan mantra. But I found something more interesting:

Certainly not for the victims but there already have been people who reported the gunshots. Part of carrying makes a person much more aware of their surroundings. If just one of those people were armed, they may have been able to give the authorities better descriptions.

Back in the range of ~80 posts it was said the VA St. Police are the ones that were looking for a white van, but no witnesses were said to know anything except they heard a bang and the guy fell. Only Fox said shotgun, but it looks like a rifle from far away, because no one reported seeing anything.

I think the longer it takes them to come out with a basic statement, the more we can assume it's not going to be a simple 'move along folks, nothing to see here.'

Again, welcome. Researching geneology can be fascinating. Callers on WMAL now talking about a pattern forming; one speculating that it's a fibinacci (sp) spiral and another psychologist saying the killer's marking out an enlarging area because of his delusions of grandeur -- increasing his area of power. Also mentioning possible significance of Michael's stores. The psychologist can't help lamenting the fact Virginia doesn't register long guns or "this crime would be solved by now."
