This gas station seems to have a good video system This looks like video from a news chopper. The parallel lines appear to be power lines viewed from above.

What is that white pickup with cab over it's bedI believe that's an early '80s full sized Bronco

If they are two suspects, they wouldn't use an open comm link. Use a couple of Nextel phones or any with the 'chat' function and you're both anonymous and encrypted.

I live in the area and there is no way the guy could have been shot from the battlefield. Such a shot would have to go over I-66 (a divided highway that is an overpass right by the station) and the shooter would have to avoid hitting a car on I-66 as it is a very busy highway at all times.
I cant believe someone was shot at that station--this area basically has no crime, is always crawling with people and in the heart of NRA country.

"... New England Firearms makes a single-shot .223/shotgun combo. It comes with two barrels which can be interchanged. When broken down, it's rather short and would easily fit into a duffel bag. It's a very conventional looking weapon - nothing at all like an M-16." That's true, but it's an inaccurate heap of crap.

"
Imagine this scenario,20 terrorist in 20 cities accross the nation,Killing sniper style, one leo per day.If that happened this country would be in chaos in less than 2 weeks."
No, that's a horrible thing to contemplate. I can't even imagine it. :(

Prince William County police close off the surrounding area of a Sunoco gas station in Manassas, Virginia, 35 miles (56 kms) from Washington, DC, October 9, 2002, after a man was shot and killed while filling his car at the gas station. The police said that it was not yet known if the attack was linked to a series of killings in the area by a mystery sniper. REUTERS/Brendan McDermid |

Thanks for the correction. I really feel for the local PD, this has got to be as bad as it gets.

Can you honestly say that is a watchable show? (for anyone besides old women)

But what kind of person would want to attack normalcy? Freepers, start profiling... A pair of disciplined al qaeda-trained terrorists whose mission is to paralyze the nation's capital.

Odd man out is #7 in Virginia...guessing a safe harbor nearby for these guys (and a rest period).
#7 & #8 lie along the east boundary of DC.
Thanks for reposting the map.
