BREAKING: One more shooting in DC area

FOXNEWS just reported that another shooting has happened in the DC area (Prince George?). A man was shot an killed at a gas station.

I've used that station, it's not far from Koon's Ford alongside the Manassas Battlefield. I've always thought of that area as being quite safe...

A card now....After Thursday, something changes...They make two hits but not kills and the "wounded" are 50 miles apart not within the little triangles of the early kills.

...either the guy got sloppy and missed a "kill" shot on the last two or there is a new shooter with a little different philosophy (which I think is the case).

They're probably fighting about the "stupidity" of leaving the card. Nevertheless, there's a possibilty that a call was made: "We left you a present, Mr. Policeman" which leads me to believe they also missed "stuff" at the earlier sites, concentrating on the sniper being in a vehicle rather than on foot with the driver of the vehicle acting as a spotter for the "sniper" telling him where to go to avoid police and witnesses. I'd guess they're using two-way radio units.

I think you're right. Because at first I'm wondering how on earth they knew this. But I bet this Asian fellow saw nothing. What nut would see a man get shut and drive off? Even a gun shot in this day and age?

Let's see.....a guy in a gas station, no witnesses, shot in head, dead. That the weapon was a shot gun being bandied about but as I recall that school kid was at first said to be shot with a handgun. I'm no gun expert, but I don't think you can tell or shouldn't deduce, right away, what kind of gun was used on a victim.

Even if it was a shotgun, yeah, the sniper could have changed guns. This doesn't yet look domestic or drug related. It looks suspicious is what I'm thinking.

The earlier shooting broke the window of a vehicle.That is the one from a shotgun.FOX is the only one that is saying shotgun in regards to this shooting at the gas station.CNN & MSNBC are saying this "seems" to be related to the sniper shooting.

I work in Kensington and I can tell you truthfully that not too many people I know are panicing. Lot's of people talking about it, but it's business as usual from what I can tell. I did volunteer to help walk the kids who take the bus to school into the school and the kids didn't seem scared at all.

There are too many similarities to ignore. Single shot, no witnesses, clean getaway, mortal wound, gas station customer/random victim, no overt/crazy behavior or exhibitions, fits into the timeline of the ongoing shootings . . . and that's only what we know about !

There's really not much doubt in my mind -- I'd lay low until he's (they're) caught . . .
