That's the first I have heard of the white truck near the middle school.

I missed where it was mentioned about a white truck near school - was it in paper or news conference?

I still would wish to hear this confirmed from some LEO before I go with the Tarot card as fact. It could be a means of trying to drawthe shooter out it may be someone misinterpreting something it may be from some other case there are a whole lot of things that it could be. Further, it could well be purposful misinformation left by the shooter. If the story is that the Tarot Card was found with the casing then the casing is something the shooter wants the police to have (disinformation???). Likewise the shooter could be using the Tarot Card as disinformation. In short what the Tarot Card means if there is a Tarot Card is up for grabs.

LOL...thanks, Peachie...but I think my husband will butt in ahead of me!...and when he's done with him, I don't think there will be much left.

My kids are in an elementary school....old enough to ask "did they catch the shooter yet?", but young enough to still only know an innocent life and want him caught "so we can go outside for recess!"

I'm on my way up to their school now....I work there part-time....in fact, we can add the teachers to the line of people who want to pummel this idiot....they want the kids to be able to run around outside, too!

It easily could be mis-information and would be smart tactics by police. Tarot card could have said I am Allah rather than I am God and the misinformation is being put out to make the shooter leave another message, which will make him easier to track.

I heard Bill Press on WMAL this morning say that Channel 9 TV reported it and the Washington Post printed it and the Post has 2 sources. I too have not heard a police spokesman confirm it.

Okay, I checked #141. This is the same post antivenom put up the other day on another thread and I pointed out the many inconsistancies of antivenom's theory. My Response

In the interest of getting a clearer understanding of the surrounding area, I provided an aerial photo of the area:

The Amoco Gas Station (cabbie,victim #3)is in the bottom left of the photo (left structure is store, right structure is canopy over pumps)

The tan roofed building at the top center in the shopping center is the Michael's store. the green expanse on the right is the cemetary. You can not draw a straight line from the cemetary to the front of the Michaels store (obstructed by five-sided building on the right side of parking lot) and you cannot even see the gas station from the cemetary as the gas station also lies about 30 feet below the cemetary grade and the parking lot across the street from the station is about 10 feet higher than the gas station.

The cemetary, by the way, is guarded and patroled. It is huge and therefore, an above average traffic flow on a daily basis.

If you go back to antivenom's post #141, you would see that too many assumptions are being made. I tried to point that out to him on the previous thread and antivenom decided he wasn't going to let the facts get in the way of his apparent agenda.(whatever it may be...)

You just about said it all -- let's hope we have some investigators in this case who think this way. I'm not overly optimistic, however.

I have this mental picture of FBI profilers salivating over the card and turning out frenzied reams of religious fanatic/nutcase/psychopath profiles based on Son of Sam/Zodiac Killer/Cunanan characteristics, mixed with info obtained from fortune tellers -- all the time blindly oblivious to the possibility of a red herring...
