Actually, I was thinking he watched "Navy Seals". In that movie Charlie Sheen plays a Navy Seal Sniper who goes by the callname "God". Whenever there's a big fight in the movie all of the seals ask for God (via radio) to help them, and Charlie Sheen's character (on a rooftop nearby) will say something about "This is God. blah blah..." and start taking out the badies.
Something a profiler might chew on.

E.D. is bringing up John Walsh to negate Chief Moose's comments that the media need to be more careful regarding their reporting and in particular the release of the tarot card as evidence. Her point is that it is through television/media that John Walsh's show has captured so many criminals. She has a point, but, the media is a good medium through which to release INFORMATION to the public versus releasing EVIDENCE (the tarot card) to the public.

This is one piece of evidence, if the reports are accurate, that the Chief didn't want released to the public. He didn't want to confirm the casing found yesterday either, but after media started reporting it, he later confirmed it. I think he is frustrated by the media.
But, I still find it odd that after 6 deaths, the shooter suddenly decides to leave 'a calling card'.

Because, to believers, they are sacred, a portal to wisdom, a gift of information to be respected and revered.
No, I'm not a believer but I 'played' one when I was young.

Chief Moose seemed very angry about the release of the info. Either he's a very good actor, or the info is true.

You are right. I can't remember the exact words, but he said he was going to go inside and talk to his people. However, I believe he's trying desperately to cover his backside or the backside of the politician involved. I am very interested to know who it was that divulged this information to the media. Their ego has cost this investigation dearly -- not to mention LIVES.

See my post #94
Last night I posted my theory about the current Sony playstation interactive game with the SNIPER theme being related in this case..I'm told this is a VERY intense and addicive game..Pete then commented that apparently in the movie "Navy Seals", the nickname of the sniper was GOD... A look needs to be taken at the seals link...

If you read between the lines, Moose was really critical of Glenspending. He said Glenspending would not be making any more statements like that. I think somebody must have scolded the governor real good.

I just like to base my supposition on cofirmed fact. For several days it was common knowledge that all the shots were head shots and latter on we learn that there were torso shots from almost the first victim. This Tarot Card thing needs to be confirmed before we base too much speculation on it.

another shooting at motel PG county

Before I heard about the Tarot card I was thinking it could be anyone from organized foreign terrorists to a Unabomber type nutcase.
Now I'm thinking it's some wacked out teenager or young adult.
I think somebody really screwed up by leaking the Tarot information, but it could benefit the investigation because I don't think the killer is finished yet. Now that the Tarot card is public, depending on what kind of mentality it is we're dealing with, the next time (and I'm convinced there will be a next time) the killer might make a more flamboyant "statement". The more flamboyant he gets, the more chance for clues to be left behind and as the killer "acknowledges" the publicity, the more likely he'll be to start making real mistakes. If the killer is a teenager or young adult, the pressure of law enforcement chasing him will start to get to him sooner. A teenager or young adult will crack sooner than an older, more disciplined person.

The chief could have been angry because the information was inaccurate. Please, let us know if and when the info is confirmed as accurate.

I think somebody must have scolded the governor real good.Actually, he was kind to him, he said "The governor is not a trained LEO"..in my mind, he was attempting to excuse him, or making allowances...

I hope it's not an Elvis impersonator.
