Actually, I was thinking he watched "Navy Seals". In that movie Charlie Sheen plays a Navy Seal Sniper who goes by the callname "God". Whenever there's a big fight in the movie all of the seals ask for God (via radio) to help them, and Charlie Sheen's character (on a rooftop nearby) will say something about "This is God. blah blah..." and start taking out the badies.

Something a profiler might chew on.

See my post #94

Last night I posted my theory about the current Sony playstation interactive game with the SNIPER theme being related in this case..I'm told this is a VERY intense and addicive game..Pete then commented that apparently in the movie "Navy Seals", the nickname of the sniper was GOD... A look needs to be taken at the seals link...

CNN reporting a shooting at a hotel in Prince George's Co., MD. Don't know if it was the sniper.

I think you've hit on a likely source for the shooter's delusions....
Bet you're right.

Wasn't Sheen the out-of-control loner who caused the death of one of the men, by his actions or lack of action. I wish I could remember what the Sheen character did in that movie, but whatever it was, it wasn't good, and he refused to take responsibility for his behavior.
