President Bush headed to Knoxville, Tennessee to speak to workers at Alcoa regarding the war on terror, and once again called on Congress to pass the Homeland Security and terrorism insurance bills. Before heading to Alcoa, Bush spoke in favor of Republican gubernatorial candidate Van Hilleary at the Cherokee Aviation Hanger. Bush also asked Attorney General Ashcroft to seek an injunction under the Taft-Hartley Act, ending the lockout and requiring work at the ports to resume at a normal pace. The injunction is done as a cooling off period for both parties involved. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

He is a cowboy!!!! And I'll bet he could care less about being called a cowboy. They called Reagan a cowboy as well. Anytime a President puts his own people first he is automatically called a cowboy. This man puts his people first. Get use to Europe!!!

I was disappointed they did not give him very much time. They had that mouthy Democrat congresswoman on there longer than that.

No, they don't want judges that believe in constitutional anything. They just want judges who play the political game.
The chaos and tyranny of the Rats wins, anything else sucks.

Sen. Byrd Grrrrrrrrr! It's hard to stay on the Christian high road where that man is concerned. He's the master obstructionist and looks more foolish by the day.

I was disappointed they did not give him very much time. You're right -- I quickly hit "post," and when my post came up in the thread, Sammon was gone already! I was surprised, because they usually give people more time than this. Shoot.

Hi Rintense, GREAT first picture. I think that is the ultimate "LOOK". LOL
I was also watching H & C. Did you see that doofus who said our W didn't really want the public to see his speech - or he would have asked for airtime?? Some people actually BELIEVE this crap!!! (sigh)

I wish the President would do a few recess appointments -- make that SEVERAL recess appointments. This has been the most unproductive Senate session I can remember thanks to The Mental Midget.

I can't trust myself to even talk about KKK Byrd. He enrages me to the point I could stroke out, lol. What a misguided, ignorant, pompous, theatrical ham!

Thanks as always rintense. My folks are here (in Ohio) on their way to Fla. with their Michigan absentee ballots in the car. Amazingly democrat dad is leaning towards Pothumous (sp)...dem. mom is leaning towards whats her name.
We drop them off at the airport tomorrow and drive their car the rest of the way...we probably could get away with filling in their ballots and sending them in. But that makes us as bad as the dems.... Guess we'll let them vote for themselves...

YIKES!!!! That would be Hillary Jr., otherwise known as Jennifer Granholm. dutchess, you have to work on your mom. There was a scathing memo released just before the debate last night in which Granholm was trading endorsements for positions in her state government.
