Democrats Plan Extensive Voter Monitoring

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic Party leaders said Tuesday they will launch an extensive effort to promote and monitor voters' rights on Election Day and will put "thousands" of lawyers in place to respond to voters' complaints.
After the difficulties in Florida in the 2000 election and during the Sept. 10 primary, Democrats said they will pay special attention to the Sunshine State.
"We are not going to stand on the sidelines while a third Florida election is bungled," said Democratic Party Chairman Terry McAuliffe, who exhibited a new toll-free call line that will allow voters to register problems and have their calls logged with local election officials and party workers.
After the bitter Florida recount battle in the 2000 presidential election, the state spent more than $30 million installing electronic voting and replacing punch-card systems.
But it still experienced widespread problems in September with new voting machines and voters who were turned away from late opening or early closing polling stations.
McAuliffe said the party will have monitors at problem polling sites. He said "thousands" of lawyers would be on notice to respond to complaints so "no one is intimidated into foregoing their rights."

Will McAuliffe be placing the same lawyers who attempted to deny the military votes from being counted? Without a doubt! McAuliffe will disenfranchised every Republican voter he can!

Let's put our own lawyers out then. Are we going to just take this? This is unbelievable. They're the ones that commit the voter fraud. It's like being stabbed and then when you're down, they kick you in the face. I'm furious about this.

"They are going to get hammered over this ........dumb move." Oh yeah, just like the Supreme court wouldn't let NJ get away with blatantly breaking the law. Yeah right. I've come to the conclusion that the real unwritten law is that Rats can do whatever they please, law or no law. Then they dare you to challenge them and laugh at you when you get outraged. I despise these scummy sewer Rats more and more every day. They will be the death of our country and they are delirious about it. Thanks again Bill Clinton. *&$#%^&

LOL. You beat me to it!
Rumor also has it that an al-Qaeda cell is going to get a government contract to serve as security personnel in U.S. airports.

OK, I suggest we ALL put our money where our mouths are. Tomorrow, go down and sign up to be at the polling booths on election day. Really see what's going on. Let's get this going in every state and then we can report back on FreeRepublic and if necessary, call the proper authorities.

I wonder if Terry's lawyers will wear pea green baseball caps like they wore for the anarchists demonstrations last week in Washington?
This is such a crock! All bluster...counter noise, because Terry knows the Justice Dept will be there too, especially in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, and he wants the emphasis changed.

I agree - I'll sign out at work on Nov. 5th. However, my neighborhood is STRONGLY Republican. Could I volunteer to sit in another district? I'm attending my FIRST Republican Women's Luncheon this week (thanks to GUIDO). Is this a good forum to volunteer for poll watching? I have no idea how one get's selected to watch the polls!

"I hope a few big busloads of Republican lawyers come down, too" Problem is that most Republicans have real jobs.

This is rich. Ask the "man in the street" what categories of people that are supposedly reputable people in society and of those categories which ones does he least trust. He or she is likely to say, lawyers and politicians -- not necessarily in that order though.

Take a look at this article. Does this concern you?
To: sweetliberty
It means that they are going to set it up to make it look like people are being "disenfrancised." It will actually be staged and the net result will be more fraudulent votes for Rats. I am sick to death of these evil people! Well they thought folks didn't like lawyers before .. try that stunt, they just might not like the response
