Again, you are quicker at being straight to the point than I am.
Good for you.
To: evilsmoker
I think you should knock yourself out and do it.
It may help.
To: A CA Guy
Thanks for nothing.

If you want to believe that Mulholland is running his operation out of a suitcase and has only one line, fine. If you want to believe that the person you reach is Mulholland, that's fine too. What do I know, anyway? Phoning that number may actually be the best use of your time.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like our guy did all right! GO, SIMON!!!! "Somebody save us . . . . from Gray Davis!" For victory & freedom!!! P.S. Gray Davis is a whore.
To: Saundra Duffy
He did "all right" at a time he needed to get noticed, so no gain in my opinion.
To: Joe Hadenuf
I served in the Viet Nam war... He was a REMF.
I think he manned a typewriter. Bumping for later. I did like how Janet Clayton from the LAT slammed Davis on his fetching personality.
To: A CA Guy
I'd go along with your assessment of his overall performance. The only demagogic notes sounded were by Davis, referring to Simon as a "far right" extremist and appealing to class envy by making an issue of Simon's wealth. Will be interested in knowing how many viewers tuned in.
To: Bonaparte
Hahaha! Doofus now praising himself for his own "courage." Amazing! Torricelli II.
To: NormsRevenge
And Davis said "CONTRIBUTIONS" for family leave etc. I believe contributions are voluntary. Taxes ain't.

Maybe you should have actually tried calling the number before you wrote. Yes, it is him - and no, you don't know what you're talking about. But since the time to call has passed, it doesn't really matter what you think. I didn't think this little prank would have won us the campaign, but it's always fun to play a little psychological warfare with the likes of Mulholland. Thanks so much for all of your help.

"...his fetching personality."His wooden attempts at "humor," followed by stoney silence, pretty much demonstrated what she was talking about. I watched him die three times in a row. It was painful.

I think they did a good job. Hal Fishman is a friend of a good friend of mine - got to meet him a couple of times in the past few years. A good guy. I think it was well done, and Simon's prosecutorial experience showed. He pulled out the worst of Davis' lies (when there are so many, you have to be picky) and shined the light on them.
I think Davi$$$ was uncertain and had brain lapses during his answers. He even karate-chopped. He is a thoroughly unlikeable lying slime.
I hope this is rebroadcast.

Go to the link.....it appears, now that I've read it more closely, that they're referring to OUR guys as being for the Green Party dude...

Nice find. Here's what was said:
"A man dressed as Superman showed up supporting Simon, as did a man dressed as a prostitute, wearing a Davis mask and carrying a sign, "Will work for bribes." A third character was dressed as a chicken, accusing Davis of being too "chicken" to agree to additional debates."
Nice job gang....

"I think he manned a typewriter."A formidable weapon when used as a bludgeon -- especially those 60s IBMs. Ouch!

My issue about this race has been that our CA conservatives got rid of Riordan who could have beaten Davis and instead placed Simon there.
Yes, he is more like me in his values by far than Riorda.
But we need to win more than we need to make a statement of who we wish could be our Gov.
Simon has been broke, sued and all but silent.
I feel I am watching the Gearge Bush #1 campaign against Clinton where he campaigned by proxy!
I hope Simon wins, but again CA conservative voters may have blown a chance to grab the seat.

The article was a tad "tilted" in Dufus's favor, wouldn't you say????
