This may terrorize the DC area but it doesn't have a nationwide impact. I resepctfully suggest that these shootings DO have a nationwide impact, even though most of us don't feel personally "at risk" at the moment. Do you feel a touch of what you felt on 9/11/2001? I do.

You're so right! Its that same feeling of vulnerability that I had on 9/11. And that same sick to my stomach feeling. God bless the children of America.

Do you feel a touch of what you felt on 9/11/2001? I do. I understand what you're saying but this doesn't compare to 9/11. That was simultaneous attacks in multiple cities and, very importantly, an organized plan. Even after all that, we (me, my wife, and daughter) flew a few weeks later for a trip to the inlaws.

I think this is effective across the nation personally. It has me shaky and concerned, and that is one of the objectives of the enemies of this country. We have never faced this kind of evil before, and the media can't just easily profile them.

I agree. If we don't strike back, immediately, these terrorists will get the upper hand. I think that is the reason that the Middle-Eastern connection has been down played. We heard on Friday that they were looking for two Hispanic type men, who could have been Mid-Eastern, and after that, nothing, no description.
