This terrorist sniper fits none of these. The targets are varied, they are not government associated, and have no similarities.
There is one similarity.. they are all Americans. A nice cross-section of Americans, wouldn't you say? I think it's terrorism.
But WHEN will America wake up and connect the dots?
My prediction: A foreign news source rather than a US news source will be the first to start calling these actions what they truly are. Only because they are detached from it, can see all the implications, and further are not under the scrutiny of American media and police briefings steeped in political correctness and dancing around what the true nature of things are.
Overall, excellent analysis, save one category: Al Qaeda/Islamist Terrorist. Based on their video tapes and materials recovered from Afghanistan, this fits their MO to a "T."
I know many folks will hate to hear this, but I'd say it's time to start detaining/deporting foreign nationals.

I agree. I was thinking at first that it was just as likely a drug or gang shooting until Fox said he was shot at a distance--as in sniper. Our homegrown drug shootings are usually done at a fairly close range and are done with a handgun--not a rifle.
I am coming to the conclusion that this is most likely terrorists, and I'm getting tired of the authorities and reporters dancing around it.
The targets seem certainly random. It's more as if the location is picked, and then the victim is whoever comes into the vision of the rifle scope.
Wasn't there an Interstate 5 sniper out in California about a decade ago? That's the closest I can think of to this situation.
One other: Preference for a particular area. Also, not knowing the area, but, aren't most of these people in this area associated with the government in some way.
You did not mention Islamic Fundamentalist terrorist. . .
. . .or maybe that is your point?
