Depends on what the bullet hit as it passed thru' and how much blood loss, also how quickly/agressively he was treated. Possible liver damage and intestinal damage (with great chance of subsequent infections) is worrisome, but I think he's at a trauma center, which is the best place to be

The PG County police say it's a .22 and this shooting is NOT related to the Montgomery County sniper.
